Great win for the Ospreys - excellent defence at the end to keep Munster out.

I didn't think it was that bad, but then I wasn't paying attention for half of it. Fantastic defense and two good tries. We'll take that and move on. Double over Munsters' always good.

That's a great result for the Ospreys with so many players away on Wales duty (7's aswell). Munster weren't full strength either as they looked ahead to the HC, but they could still call upon their big players off the bench.

The Ospreys seem to be building an even stronger squad, which is more about strength in depth than the big stars. They have huge riches in the backrow with after bringing in Stowers and Bearman, and with players like Tipuric, Smith and now King coming through. We've not seen much of O'Tool yet, but he's there if needed aswell. Jarvis seems to be a good squad member on the tighthead aswell.

I'm still impressed with Webb at 9. He's got a really nice mix to his game, and really makes things happen for the Ospreys. Fotuali'i is a good player, but I don't think he should automatically come back in when he's fit again. Matthew Morgan seems to be growing into regional rugby, but he's still a way off. Quite a few errors today, and was lucky that his pass to O'Gara didn't result in a try. His kicking was a little off today aswell, but I'll forgive him that because it's generally excellent. Got swatted aside in the tackle a few times again.

Bishop is my one big concern atm. He seems to be going backwards a little. I barely heard his name today, and whilst hes defense is still excellent, he really offers very little else to his game at the moment. Beck's the one that's standing out, he get's through a ton of work and is prepared to attack the line. The Ospreys centre partnership is generally lacking a little balance for my liking. Beck, Bishop and Parker are all similar types of players, but none are hugely creative, nore are they big crash-ball players.

Still building quite nicely. But for the draw v Treviso, it's been a great start to the season for them.

yes, I thought he became a very decent regional player around 2009 to 2010, but this season he's been very poor

Why was the TMO used to see if there was a knock on before the try or not? I swear the rules havent changed seeming it wasnt in the act of scoring that the potential knock on happened..?

It wasn't really. The ref asked for the tmo to check the grounding because he wasn't looking after thinking it was knocked on. The linesman confirmed that it was knocked backwards by a Munster player, but neither had seen the actual grounding. The tmo seemed to get a little confised and checked the knock on aswell....

The ref blew the whistle before Fussel grounded the ball for a Munster scrum. When he realised his mistake he went to the TMO.

Although the ref messed up there, I wouldn't begrudged the Ospreys that try because it was perfectly fine. His overall performance was shockingly bad and the scrum sequence at the end summed it all up.

Munster were almost as bad as the ref. They turned their backs for the second try and didn't get going until POC, Murray and ROG came on. They looked clueless once again with ball in hand and it was easily defended. You'd have to wonder if McGahan has much of a clue in terms of tactics.

I heard O'toole has been having fitness issues, this is not surprising seeing as how he came from an amateur outfit. Hopefully he sorts it out and gets some game time.

O'Toole has been playing a lot for the Osprey's Welsh Premiership feeder clubs Swansea and Neath, I think his play has been fairly good there but the fitness issues and foriegn player spots could be factoring in his absense in the lienup. He also tends to be hot and cold, he was fantastic in the Churchill Cup and warm up games but didn't have a great RWC.

I don't think he played that well in the game against Connacht and has not been featured since. I have a feeling we will be seeing him playing in the RFU Championship next year.
