Great news, what makes me even more happy is that the Western Fail, failed to report it this morning.

Good to see that at least one welsh player's staying. Were talks of him joining Byrne, but obviously the ospreys have flashed the cash. Just wish they'd stop buying all these foreigners. I dont mind if its in positions we need, but still back-row and scrum half seemed to have strength in depth (with homegrown talent). There we go, i'm not the owner, so i guess money talks :S

Considering there was talks of mass exodus from the Ospreys its not that bad only Henson, Hook, Byrne and Mitchell have all decided to leave. Consider that Ryan Jones, Jonathan Thomas, Andrew Bishop, Richard Fussell, Tom Isaacs, Rhys Webb, James King, Kristian Phillips, Scott Baldwin and James Goode have all signed new deals its not that bad.

My brain can't comprehend the stuff in bold.

In all seriousness, it's not bad atall Cymro. I'm quite happy with the way things have gone. The main player I'm a little dissapointed for loosing is Mitchell, because he's not going to a good enough club, and will now likely be overlooked by Gatland, or will after the WC. Hook leaving will mean he can play in his best position (well imo anyway). Henson wasn't a loss at the time, because he hadn't played in so long, the Ospreys do miss him in the same way Wales do though. Whilst Byrne leaving will hopefully mean we'll have another option at fullback for Wales, unless a SH import is brought in.

As I'm not solely an O's supporter, I can see the positives for the players themselves and Welsh rugby as a whole. I'm sure not all Ospreys supporters feel the same way.

Ha JT is good for the Ospreys but offers little at international level.

Mitchell was / is a weird one, im sure the Dragons or Blues could have done with him. But there we are. Phillips will likely leave as will Nutbrown so its not that bad. You almost feel that Phillips has got that mental attitude he is better than everyone else when really he is not.
