Odd One Out...

<div class='quotemain'>
Sorry, ignore my post above. It's completely wrong.
[/b]

So, what's wrong....your above post or our answers??

<_< Any clues?
[/b][/quote]
I assume it's either Williams or Brooke since those were the two guesses, I'm assuming it was Brooke since RAR and you both said him, Riders may have missed GJohns post.

My Guess - Brooke - Only one to have scored a Drop Goal?

zinzan brooke - only player to have scored a drop goal and a try in the same game
[/b]
Again close, but you've singled out the wrong player.

I'll go then...

Martyn Williams
Zinzan Brooke
Phil Waugh
Bob Skinstad
Jono Gibbes [/b]

I wonder if its about kicking out of hand. I know Martyn Williams has done this, but unsure of the rest. I'm going Martyn Williams.

Again, on the right track. It does have something to do with kicking. Martyn Williams is not the odd one out though.

Phil Waugh has never made a scoring play from a kick of his boot.
[/b]
I'll pay that. The answer was that all of those players listed, bar Phil Waugh are all forwards who have scored drop goals in their professional careers. Bob Skinstad scored one in Super 12 same with Jono Gibbes. Zinzan Brooke scored one in a World Cup match and Martyn Williams scored one against Tonga in the 2003 World Cup.

Your turn Rugby_A_Religion... make another tough one.

Riders has set the bench mark.
