17 uncapped players in the Japan squad for these tests and Jamie Joseph saying he isn't bothered by results and it is his first match. If Japan can score 17+ points and lose by less than 20 that would be acceptable. This would have been competitive if Japan had first choice players but they seem to be struggling to get their best players playing (as they did against Scotland in June). I've no idea how strong the Top League is but i wouldn't imagine their is a whole lot of strength in depth in Japan... yet.

agreed, if they had all their top players available would have been a cracking match. two teams that love to throw caution to the wind and sling the ball about, but are actually good at it. for this game though id say Arg by at least 15

Think it's the kind of thing which is a cultural taboo, but probably not one they expect foreigners to abide by as much as native Japanese. People will probably point and comment to each other, but to be fair that will happen if you're 6"2, blonde, ginger or have freckles.

Not as far as i am aware. I don't think the time would suit most euros. Think it's 5 am UK time. Internet stream is your best shot.
