NH Rugby Transfers

@Myself:
McAlister <- Blues (NZ) or Larkham <- Brumbies (Aus)
[/b]

Ok so Larkham goes to edimburgh, and now I read on a french paper that McAlister got a huge offer from Sale (300 000 â'¬ More than Toulouse's offer). I hate you St André.

Jeez Owen Finegan is getting on in age! turned 35 three weeks ago! Still got a couple of years left though!

 @ Leicester.

What the hell are they doing signing Owen Finegan? Did they not pay attention when he was at Newcastle?

The guy is a total waste of space.

Monday has come and been... Apparently teams have to register players by June or else they can't play this year? So in theory all I really have to do is knock out every International Airport in Europe until at least June? Shouldn't be too hard.

So has there been any update on the Luke situation? Apart from the articles were all looked to be from the same source all has been quiet on the Luke front - If Toulouse Officals had indeed arrived or were due to arrive we would be hearing about it on the TV News.

Luke is HIGH priority for the NZRFU now. im not sure if that will make a diffrence.

His father said that he realy wants to play in europe. i think hes going to sign with Toulouse. there probably waiting for the all black squad to be announced before confirming it. that way his name doesnt go missing from the all black squad which could drop his value.

i think the NZRFU can stop the exodus pretty easily. if they put in a 4 year standown from the all blacks once you return to NZ. the likes of Hayman, Mauger & Dermody have left NZ with the intention of coming back to play in RWC2011. if they add that standdown then im not sure if the likes of Lukey would go.

Luke himself I have only ever heard/read him say that he would only go overseas because he wasn't getting enough AB Gametime and with Mauger going that issue has been resolved. Charlies comments could also just be an attempt to get the NZRFU to cough up a bit more cash for his son, or it could just be Charlie talking **** which apparently he does on a regular basis.

I like the standown idea though.

Can't realistically see McAlister signing for Munster, especially if he's ever seen a game of Munsterball.

And I thought Leicester would have known better than to sign Finegan, he's done nothing for Leinster this year and looks like he couldn't care less.

Leeds sign South African flanker Hendre Fourie from Rotherham. He has been immense for us over the past 2 years, and I confidently predict him to hold his own in the GP.

We will see Monday than - Still hoping (blindly) that he stays, and apparently Toulouse were offering 740,000.

Luke McAlister could be lost to New Zealand rugby by the end of the week.
NO WIN ON PLAYER LOSS

The Blues and All Blacks star will meet with representatives from French glamour club Toulouse in the next few days and will be handed a contract worth a staggering $892,600 a year.

Toulouse spokesperson Celine Cluzel confirmed a club staffer would be in Auckland this week to secure the deal.
[/b]

According to xe.com 892,600 NZ$ = 484,841.06 â'¬ . And Michalak doesn't get that.
[/b][/quote]

Looks like the staffer may have failed than.
