We shipped something crazy like 66 points last time we went to New Zealand right? That was a painful aul day.
While I don't see anything like that happening this time around (we could take a drubbing or two, but if we concede over 50 I'll be devastated), I don't think anything will be accomplished on this tour. My gut feeling is that we'll lose all three tests, two by in or around ten to fifteen points and the third by about 25. We more than likely won't see any new players tried out (and we could desperately do with giving game time to Hagan, Tuohy, Cave, etc.) and we will take an absolute stonking in terms of our IRB rankings. I could very easily see us dropping out of the top eight, leaving us with a god awful group come 2015.
That said, we've beaten the world champions in our first outing against them the last two times now, so who knows?
