The Jets have a serious problem in terms of running their mouth although I do sort of agree with him, their team needs a lot of work and QB isn't their top priority. I don't think Tebow will be affected by that though.

As for the "bountygate" punishments, it's bullcrap. I can understand why they have punished them but the length of the ban is wrong.

Miami have really ballsed up this Free Agency. First linked with Manning then came away with David Garrard. Amazing. Should have pulled the stops out to bring Tebow in.

However the trade is up in the air.

Have no problem with Bountygate - the Saints were rightly made an example to serve for other teams. Next.

The Dolphins look like they'll reach for Tannehill or Cousins in the first. Which is wrong imo. Tannehill has the tools, but he seems like Gabbert 2.0.

Less scared about Cousins, seems more like Dalton (read: awesome).4

I'm more surprised the Jags or Fins didn't make a stronger move for Tebow. They could've used the hype (and the QB) for the team, even though Tebow is a glorified FB.

I mean, a pair of mid rounders, come on!

Tebow said he was not interested in playing for his hometown of Jacksonville. But Miami have let him slip. Miami will struggle this year with Garrard under center.

Vonta Leach being ranked at #45 in the Top 100 is pretty awesome for a Fullback.

Chad Ochocinco might change his name again to Chad Pequarentacinso.

(The above is a lame joke reflecting his current job status)

He's done, there are so many good kids coming through in the drafts who are cheaper than a 30+ self-interested, has beens like Chad and T.O.

Just thinking of it there may well be teams that may take a punt on him, Miami, Jacksonville and possibly Dallas.

Even though the Pats cut Ocho, they still have 15 WRs on their roster.

I think he's done too. Won't stop a team like the Browns signing him though.

What's probably going to go against him is his attitude. He's always been a bit full of himself, an attitude young, new WR's in the main don't have. If I see him playing next season I will be very surprised.

Well not only that he failed to learn the Pats play book.

Big news for fans of small market teams, as the NFL is widely expected to ease the ridiculously harsh blackout policy. As it stands now all games that aren't virtual sell out's(something like 99% of seats) within 72 hours of game time are blacked out in the local market(note that teams can apply for a 24 hour extension to this if they are very close to a sellout but it still is 48 hours before game time). This has led to some teams notably in Miami, where the owner has repeatedly purchased seats in his own stadium in order to get the games on TV, other teams have done this as well.

The new rules will allow for teams to set there own blackout policy as long as at least 85% of seats are sold(all sell-outs must still be shown on TV of course). Teams setting low benchmarks will have to contribute more revenue to the NFL revenue sharing pool, but for small market teams this probably won't be much of a punishment since they are the ones receiving the funds. Sources report that the FCC was looking into changing the 36 year old federal law that allowed the NFL to conduct blackouts and this may have helped the NFL into deciding to take action.

That's not a bad idea.

Should help out teams like Jacksonville.

What I failed to know is what Ochocinco was called before he changed it, I know now so I know whose name and number is on the back of my Bengals jersey.

I just can't wait for this season, have a feeling it's gonna be a good one plus I'm going to the Rams-Pats game in October, bring it on.

I'm hoping the Bills have a good campaign I actually have some genuine mild optimism about this season, perhaps sneaking into a wild card spot isn't out of the cards. The Canadian gridiron season got started but they aren't streaming the games internationally anymore  so I can't expose you guys to the fun differences in the codes. My team Hamilton sucked it up on opening weekend unfortunately.

You know of any places that do stream them?

I'd be quite keen to watch ANY football at this stage. :(

Even tsn.ca isn't streaming them within Canada anymore so I don't really know. Youtube has the highlight packages, on the official channel. Even now they don't have a deal to show games in the States or Mexico but I expect they will get that, usually NFL network or someone steps up to the plate.

Here's an awesome promo the CFL did a few years ago.

One of the most idiotic things I've ever seen in gridiron and sports in general as Chris Williams of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats decides to act like an a-hole and celebrate before getting to the endzone much yelling at my telvision screen ensued. Luckily for him they scored the touchdown on the next play but still here is acting like a douche educaton. Sad part is it was a damn good play until the end.
