Thank you sir! Unfortunately Cork robbed the Dubs in the big season opener today but you can recover from a 1st round loss in a the NFL I suppose...

Hoping for a New England win tonight, my reasoning? I don't like defensive teams in any sport even ones I know **** all about and I like the sound of the Gronk, sounds slimey yet likeable.

But they use rugby defense. :D

Gronk is a legend.

Don't like a lot of the Seahawks as people but as players some of them are great to watch. Do have a lot of time for Wilson though.

I shout for Clare. We gave Wexford a lesson so good start to day for me. That Div 1 joke anyway. Dubs will get in to top 4 and get serious then they experimented today and will be better come May for it.

Just in general why are Seahawks so hated in NFL?

As far as I can tell, that's the big reason.

Theyre seen as a team that mouths off a little too much. Their "Legion of Boom" won't shut up and some, myself included, would like them to show some class occasionally. Also people see their fans like we see Man United fans or Man City fans now, a bit of a bandwagon team.

That said NE are cheats so I hope Seattle win

What do you mean ? Nothing looks wrong to me ?

Seahawks are the defending champions. Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch are an incredibly potent pair in the back field while the lack a bit out wide. Their defense (collectively known as the legion of boom and featuring top class players like Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor and Byron Maxwell) is the best in the NFL. In the conference game (think semi-finals) they pulled off a pretty miraculous (and heart wrenching for yours truly) comeback at home against Aaron Rodgers' Green Bay Packers in the final 5 minutes. If they win they'll be the first team in 10 years to put two ***les back to back. The last team to do it? The New England Patriots featuring Bill Belichick as coach and Tom Brady as QB.

The Patriots demolished the Colts in their conference game to make it to SB 49. They're all about Brady and his favourite target, tight end Rob Gronkowski, an absolute giant who's nearly impossible to contain. In my opinion they're the weaker outfit in terms of talent, but Brady is arguably the greatest quarterback of all time and has the ability and balls to pull his team through against anyone. Belichick is a similarly talented coach and has turned a lot of these Patriots players' careers around. I'm rooting for them, mainly because Tom Brady is an absolute class act, on and off the field. His wife is also a supermodel, so there's that.

Strong, aggressive defence against a team with a genius game-changing playmaker sounds like a great contest in any sport, personally I'm naturally drawn to the playmaker so I'm going for the Patriots tonight. Also the first Super Bowl I ever watched was won by the Patriots, with a dramatic last second field goal ... 2004 I think? Even though I love Nirvana, that wasn't quite enough to swing it for Seattle.

Go Pats!!!!!!!!

Yeh i'm going Sky.

wouldn't mind holding them footballs. ;)

Every male in the world praying for a wardrobe malfunction. On her, not Kravitz

I'm going with Channel 4, with Vernon Kay (FROM BOLTON).

Don't have sky, and I can't be arsed sorting out getting a stream running through my TV - Internet in my village is pretty pants so streams pause if you try and do anything (even post on here) in the background while they're going.
