Looks like a deceptacon logo.

I thought that....possibly a tangaroa (or something similar). Be thankful they just used the head shot

thanks royalbluestuey, i found a way how to upload it.

anyway, hello i'm new here and this would have been my idea for the new england kit, however with time the new kit is starting to look good!

p.s. did anyone notice that we have changed to white/red socks? :p

was well impressed with ch1mas effort. so i thought i might make a quick comparisson. see what people thought. england world cup kit on the left and our mans (plus a bit of interpretation on the shorts- hope you dont mind) on the right. wc kits so no sponsors. and of course england play in navy socks. its the law.

ch1ma's one for me....although in truth I would never by a tight-fit type one.

Altho ch1mas effort was good, i still still think England's kit is very nice.
I'd choose that any day.

i like ch1mas kit as it follows the sort of brand that england have buil up for a few seasons of symetrical panneling. i think the lines serve to enhance the physique of the players far more than the swoosh stuff. which i reckon looks off ballance and makes the bigger guys look a bit pear shaped.

it feels a bit like this is the kit they have wanted to put on england for a good long while but have been softening up the descision makers with slightly less outrageous designs for the past few seasons.

i hope the nest kit sees a return to a more traditional uni. i was quite surprised with the new one as there has been a bit of a return to a more traditional look in the last little while. queensland have gone back to a plain jersey that looks great even if they suck, leicester look good with the stripes back.

bought the new abs jersey on the weekend. stupid jd sports staff put the old kit on the new hangers and sold me the new one half price. very good of them.

Love the Images you created Davidson, they have a nice kind of sheen to them...

Personally prefer them both, and would wear either, I would probably go for ch1ma's if pushed to.

thanks davidson! they look brilliant. i'd buy both. :D you have made both kits come to life.
p.s. i love your input (short, socks), they're fantastic.

JD Sports are usually dopes.

Then again, so are most British shop staff (unless you work in a bespoke, specialised Rugby shop of course!)

here is the new new zealand 'away' jersey. i think it's to be worn against scotland in the world cup.
p.s. re: teh mite stating that the samoa jersey looks like a soccer top, i found it on a soccer shirt site!

Save!

Usually when I'm drunk and talking my quote is "give me a JCB, I might be some time..."

I think the new England shirts look excellent, really pleased with the red away shirt although it's a bit redundant, I can't remember the last time we used our change strip!

I can see Adidas went the extra mile to design the most amazing All Blacks jersey:

<NZRFU> Right, we want you to design a new jersey for us for the Rugby World Cup.
<Adidas> Yes Mr Designer, it has to be cutting edge.
<NZRFU> Dynamic.
<Adidas> Revolutionary.
<NZRFU> Symbolic of the future.
<Adidas> A new era of jersey designs.

<Designer> Well...how about I just get a plain black jersey, put "All Blacks" on one side and "Adidas" on the other?

<Adidas> GENIUS!
<NZRFU> Son, if there aren't enough zeroes on this cheque you can just add some more!

Not just the new SA jersey, but any of the new Canterbury jerseys. I imagine they'll follow the same design, so we're looking at new strips for South Africa, Scotland, Ireland....

just a thought but all the nike and canterbury kits will probably be the same but with different natonal colours? as with the last world cup??

Yeah.
England and France are the same, as are Oz, SA, Irl and Scots jerseys...just different colours.

I bought a Australia 2007 shirt from rugbyshop.co.uk 'cause it was on sale for 24GBP. It should arrive this week...I wonder how different canterbury's RWC stuff will be? I can only imagine it will be really similar but with a RWC patch.
