Exactly. The reason for teams winning a good amount of their lineouts isnt because the throw-in was straight; that's expected. The stat compares what ercentage ofthe time the lineout operator or whoever wins it for his team.
That said, Webber is usually fine. I'm just having a moan that the one usually stable element of our game went out the window today!
All hookers have a rep for having mares from time to time. Wally must be one of the most infamous for never being able to throw straight until maybe 2 years ago, for club or country.Yeah, it's silly to be thinking of dropping a player for one bad day in the lineout. Hartley's had a brief period where he couldn't throw straight and got over it pretty quickly.
One of the commentators on sky said yesterday that he expects Tom Croft to start for England in the 6 nations. I think that although I thought he was v. impressive yesterday, surely the 6 shirt is Robshaw's to lose for now because of his recent form?
6. Croft
7. Robshaw
8. ?
19. Wood
That is how that particular balancing act works
I really hope that Robshaw doesn't start at 7.
Wood, Seymour, Saull - anyone who is actually a fetcher please!
Is Wood a fetcher?
Seymour has made more turnovers in the Premiership though.. I always thought Wood was more of a defensive flanker (a 61/2 if you like...)

Banahan is only good at club level when on the wing.
