Amen to that. Not Anti NZ at all but Kiwi is a racist little troll, hopefully he will sod off once the WC is over.

Sorry mate, I've got a British passport and just signed a new contract as your head coach. It'll be announced on the BBC tomorrow morning.

Going out in London last Saturday really put the nail in he coffin for me, during the week before hand it hadn't been too bad and blokes were friendly enough in the pubs, but all Saturday night me and my mates just got rubbish banter, general disappointment from people and negativity, pretty tired of it. Some ****** tried to lecture me on how we only won the world cup last time because of Craig Joubert, the feeling is merely mutual mate, except we actually live in reality of our own standard of rugby.

Englands major problem anyway is rugby is an upper class game, that's why they will be eternally rubbish, with the odd good year like in 2003.

I do hope NZ win, as I think you will be too upset if they don't.

BTW I didn't say NZ are boring, I said that I thought that the final would be boring compared to the semi, Pumas v Wallabies.

I have said that NZ would win from the beginning and really we needn't have bothered with the competition, we should have just given them the cup!

You are wrong about rugby being an upper class sport here, although the game is played more in independent schools because they have the playing fields, but there is plenty of rugby played at all levels, and the clubs are full of players from all walks of life. When my husband played there were three brothers, all builders, who made up a formidable front row, one of whom went on to captain a prestigious senior club.

Hope you enjoy the final.

Best wishes

My honest feelings about the RWC is that it would have been better to seen England in the later stages, there would have been far more atmosphere and the tournament would have felt a lot healthier and grander, it has been a quiet tournament and a good one, but I think England making at least a semi-final would have made it far better. Thanks for your kind post, much appreciated.

The biggest brand in rugby who's style of play our media have been circle jerking about for two weeks and y'all still somehow have a victim complex. Chill boys.

Jones nailed, had a gutsful of the anti-AB tone in this board, listening to the Poms commentate the games here is terrible as well (I'm currently in London). Given up with diplomatic discussions on this board and tired of reading pompous posts and All Black pessimism. Go the Black machine.

A lot of England fans asked me the result when I was getting the tube back into town to celebrate and they all cursed when I told them, the general disappointment here is evident and the stench of jealousy and resentment is growing.

I see you have been singled out a few times on this thread. People saying they want the ABs to lose because of posters on this forum. I refuse to believe people are that weak upstairs that they get that rattled by a few posters. End of the day success breeds hate an jealousy. So let the haters hate and hopefully we'll cop it for another 4 years cause if we do that means the ABs are still the kings of the international game.

Only two weeks? Man to live in world where our media didn't constantly compare us in inferiority to the AB'S.

Quality post detected from Gamine, some of the English fans who use a few bits of trolling as a disguise for their hatred should take a leaf out of gamies book and put it on their tree of pages.

According to our media we were better than the All Blacks before two weeks ago, now we're a side who hasn't really achieved **** in the last two years that must completely change our style of play to avoid the wooden spoon next year... Or if you read Gerry Thornley he is likely to be telling you we're still better than the All Blacks.

It occurs to me we are the underdogs, we have a smaller catchment area by some distance from Aussie.
We have a lot less money to spend on training facilities like the impressive Aussie Institute of Sport and then when we travel everyone and I do mean everyone is against us.
So be it and this poll confirms it.
We are universally loathed and hated by some of the pommie regulars on this forum and thats how it is, away from home we rarely get any support and that just makes it all the more satisfying when we do get the results.
A nation of 4.5 million human beings should not be this successful at rugby, but there you are... what can you do.
Go on Richie, break the record son and make the record anew, set the bar higher, thats the goal and do it in style against a very skilful and talented Wallaby team that will have thousands more voices in support than we ever will.
But most of all, just do your best and leave it all out there on the field.

Like a lot here I think, I see Australia as the underdog purely based on your recent encounters ( last 4 years : 9 wins - 2 draws - 1 lost )
Personally no animosity at all towards the ABs. You have a great rugby team and are defo the team to beat. Incidentally I had the chance to visit New-Zealand, a beautiful country with a great bunch of people.
Take it easy ;)

Pretty gutted for Ireland, serial underachievers when it comes to World Cups, I think it's your lack of depth as well, didn't have quality injury cover and losing some instrumental players always decimates any team. Unlucky and slightly lacking in quality depth is the real reason I think. With a fully fit team next year and a new look AB team, you will have more than every chance to beat us on the end of the year tour. I think our midfield is going to be too fresh and too inexperienced. I'm guessing it will be Fekitoa - Crotty.

ABs deserve it based on results of the last 4 years, but I hope they pull out a 'real' performance to fully warrant it this tournament. Stomping the current France team and scraping two points over the least powerful SA team I think I've ever seen doesn't count. They've been underwhelming. Can therefore still see Aus pulling it off with Pocock preventing McCaw wrongsiding every ruck by pulling the ball out first (yeah, I went there :D ) and so I guess my point is that I just want a great match. Not taking sides.

I'm not even going to say anything.

You couldn't do worse than ... THEM. Welcome aboard, you hateful swine.
Apologies on behalf of London, but it's kinda hostile by default. Try the Norff or the South coast next time.

I hope New Zealand win purely for Ritchie McCaw . What a way to finish for one of the greatest players ever .....

With truckloads more money.
With the Institute of Sports backing that Aussie kindly let the Kiwi's borrow occasionally because we don't have any facilities of that quality because we can't afford it.
With your far greater catchment because you have 20 million people to our 4.5
... and yet we are begrudgers, nice one.

At least you have a better sense of humour than Kiwi_ :D
