Munster v Ulster

recurrence of the medial ligament injury for Tipoki and he's replaced by Barry Murphy for the second half

bonus point for Ulster, superb play again from McCrea, thought he'd messed it up but good support from Boss, I know I'm shocked as well and Court finishes it off.

and now 2 yellow cards for Puciarello and McCullough.

29-6 Ulster

Munster nearly in there but not sure what went through Mick O'Driscoll's head there at the end

That is superb defence from Ulster, great double tackle on Lewis, looked a cert for a try

I think Ulster can count themselves slightly lucky that Wallace was off injured as I don't think he could have made the hit that Steinmetz did.

consolation try for Munster with Warwick's cross field chip for Howlett but Warwick misses the kick

32-11 Ulster 65 mins

And this is in Thomond Park?
Oh wow.
Only problem is they'll hit back with interest in Europe...

well you can make the excuse for Munster, no O'Connell, Horan, Wallace, Leamy, O'Leary, O'Gara going off after 15 and Tipoki going off at half time. Still though the performance from Ulster has been superb and while their European campaign may be over they're certainly going to give Quins and Paris a game in their last 2 matches.

Holy God I'm in shock, Trimble looks likes he's managed to gather that kick for the try, well when it's your night it's your night

this is really shocking..and yup.. I think humphreys will be on the bench for the 6 nations.. he's playing excellently

and good to see a new young fly half coming through with genuine skill.. he's O'Gara's replacement

hmm could go.. Elwood,Humphreys,O'Gara,Humphrey's for ireland

Humphrey's performances of late have been really impressive but he really looks to have stepped it up tonight but I hope he's not the only Ulster player that Kidney has his eyes on, Wallace and Ferris have also been hugely impressive as have McCrea and Cave.

An Tarbh any chance of changing my prediction before full-time?LOL.just joking

"Lower ranked" Irish teams(Connacht & Ulster who play with heart and pride) > The "mighty" Munster(complacent c**ts) :boese0556kf:

for the squad yes .. but Kidney has a huge selection in the backrow forwards.. I think Ferris might make the bench for some games

but when you have wallace at 8, or heslip and at 6 either Leamy or Quinlin and Ronan and Jennings at 7 it's hard to find place.. but I think Ferris will be there and there abouts especially for the future..

I really think we need a new prop, Haye's didn't play well and has been poor recently.

As for Wallace I wouldn't pick him for ireland to start in a million years.. give me o'driscol, Fitzy, Earls, Darcy ahead of him in the centre anyday..

I think if O'Gara was injured for the 6 nations in a way it could be a good thing.. would force the management to make some choices and give humphreys some international game time..

I do hope Kidney doesn't make the same mistake as O'Sullivan and choice O'Gara without any regard for forum

I think Ferris has to start at 6, Quinlan gives away too many penalties at international level so he's a non starter for me, given that Leamy doesn't have a huge amount of game time you've got to think that Ferris is in the driving seat as Wallace and Heaslip look to be the other likely starters. Unfortunately for us Kidney seems to have a huge problem with Jennings which is going to cost us in the Six Nations.

I think the only definite starting back row player is Wallace.

playing wallace at 7 is a mistake really, he's amazing in open play whereever he plays and I think he'll start 8 for the lions too.

I'd love to see Jennings at 7 wallace at 8 and personally I'd go with Quinny at 6... but I think i'd mix it up.. play leamy quinlan and ferris and see what works best.

I like Heaslip but I can't see him taking wallace out of a place.. unless of course as you say.. Kidney plays wallace at 7 and heaslip at 8..which i think is a mistake..

But genuinely for the 6 nations I don't think we've a chance.. wales all the way would be my guess

Wow - I would never have expected such a comprehensive victory for Ulster. Great news for the Ospreys :)
