Moan about All Blacks here.

Yes I did. that was the point, I thought

Perhaps so, but he also attempts to give the impression that they are the ONLY team that does this, and that is what I object to.

He also infers that the referees are incapable of detecting it, and I object to that too.

My video does not set out to prove the Boks also do these things, or that they are the only team that does them. It set out to show that it is possible to "prove" anything you like by cherry picking the right bits of footage.

I thought I had made that plain. Perhaps there is a language barrier (just like the one your coach suffers from) and English isn't your first language.

As for misunderstanding the cherry picking quote you will find that I stated that both of you cherry picked situations to prove a point.

Cooky you need to lower yourself from that intellectual pedestal that you place yourself on and realise that because somebody does not agree with your sentiments or arguements does not mean that hey don't understand, but rather that they may not neccessay agree with your opnion.

Surely you realise that some people are highly opinionated, and you will not change their mind due to them displaying a high level of arrogance, to the point of them coming across as ignorant, by them distainfully dismissing other peoples arguements as confusion due to a language barrier.

I know what I did and why I did it

I explained it well enough, I thought

You disagree, that's your prerogative

I don't give a toss what you think anyway, and especially, I don't give a fat rats arse what you think of me.

Move on; I have

Hold on..Im not sure if this comment has been made yet but there was a player knocked into touch holding the ball So how could Drew mitchell be carded for slowing down play as a quick lineout is no longer an option, as another player had touched it after it went out over the touchline...?

LAW 19.2
(d) For a quick throw-in, the player must use the ball that went into touch. A quick throw-in is
not permitted if another person has touched the ball apart from the player throwing it in and
an opponent who carried it into touch.
The same team throws into the lineout.

So Ashley Cooper carrying the ball into touch does not count as another player touching the ball. The quick throw was allowed.

(i) If a player carrying the ball is forced into touch, that player must release the ball to an
opposition player so that there can be a quick throw-in.

Sanction: Penalty kick on 15-metre line

Ashley Cooper has to release, which he did

LAW 10.2 UNFAIR PLAY
(a) Intentionally Offending. A player must not intentionally infringe any Law of the Game, or
play unfairly. The player who intentionally offends must be either admonished, or cautioned
that a send off will result if the offence or a similar offence is committed, or sent off.

Sanction: Penalty kick

Batting the ball out of an opponent's hand is Foul Play.

I know why he wasn't cited.... :p

This wasn't an offense that was missed by the referee, nor was it one for which a red card was issued.

Now the cynical among us might believe that he wasn't cited because that may have been somewhat of an embarrassment for Jon Kaplan, and would be seen effectively as the Citing Commissioner over-ruling the match referee.

With the match being New Zealand v Australia, the Citing Commissioner was a South African.... draw your own conclusions!

However, as I read the regulations, it is clear that the Citing Commissioner can only cite a player if in his opinion it warranted a RED CARD.

17.6.2 When a Citing Commissioner is appointed, the following policy shall apply:
(a) Citing Commissioners shall be entitled to cite a player for any act or acts of Illegal and/or Foul Play which in the opinion of the Citing Commissioner warranted the Player concerned being
Ordered Off;
(b) Citing Commissioners may cite Players for an act or acts of Illegal and/or Foul Play even where such act or acts may have been detected by the referee and/or touch judge and which may have been the subject of action taken by the referee and/or touch judge. A Citing Commissioner may not, however, cite a Player for an act or acts of Illegal and/or Foul Play in respect of which the Player has been Ordered Off;
Part (b) is subject to Part (a). i.e. while he can cite a player whose offence has been spotted by the referee - (part (b) - that offence still has to be worthy of a red card - part (a).

Does all that make any sense?

For me the hit warranted a red card.

At the end of the day, Kaplan missed it really. Best thing we can do is move on.

its funny how kiwis come on this thread to argue why we should like the all blacks, when this thread is for us nz haters to let out our frustrations at those cheating scum, i mean you dont have to read what people say of your precious team

I don't hate New Zealand at all. I hate our coach, SARU, and the selection panel, as well as the ANC. I do hate Australia though. Nothing against the people, but for some reason i can't help but hate any sports team that they produce.

Thanks mate. Love you too.

Ask Lordhope. Im sure he remembers a man called Cristian Cullen playing in white and scoring 4 tries in 1996. ABs vs Scotland.

Its kind of hard to remember things that one never knew happened!

Just once, just once... Once in my lifetime, hopefully next year on (insert date of 2011 RWC final here) we can beat the All Blacks.
And they play with a silver kit, no? (The away kit that is, remember {unfortunately} the 2007 game where Scotland played in white, with NZ in silver, and it was very hard to distiungish between them)

New Zealand were the ones scoring all the tries

Eh?

Hmmn ... I'd like to have a whinge about the ABs, but I generally only do it once every four years, and even then, sometimes I opt for complaining about the refs, food poisoning, the weather, the alignment of the stars, or some other unfair factor why we haven't won the Webb Ellis cup :)

Can I maybe reserve a spot for 2011 ... i'm hoping to cancel, but if you can reserve me a spot just in case, that would be great :)

Eh?

Hmmm... I swear there was a match played in recent times where Scotland wore white and NZ silver...

Its so hard, every match ends the same way, so it is hard to put a scoreline with it.

The best thing about the current NZ run of good form is that just prior to the last RWC, they were in a rich vein too. History repeats itself. Can't think of anything more positive to say on the matter.

Beauty mate! Ain't it the truth though? Without doubt, the team to beat since I was in nappies, but one World Cup in how many beggars belief.
