Glasgow Warriors have confirmed Scotland winger Max Evans will leave at the end of the season.

Evans, a former golf professional, has made 60 appearances for the Warriors since making the switch from Glasgow Hawks.

However he has opted to turn down the offer of a new deal to move on.

Head coach Sean Lineen said: "Max has been another outstanding discovery for Glasgow and it is unfortunate that he is moving on at the end of the season.

"In saying that, Max has been a great servant to Glasgow and I wish him well for the future."

I imagine he's off to France

Lads I don't deal much with Munster transfer issue but if you look back maybe 7-8 months ago I said there was murmurs from top office Evans was been looked at and some people were saying it'd be bad move. I wonder will we follow up but I don't think we'd compete with money in France

Disappointing that he is moving on, but now he may be able to move to a team where he can further develop his attacking skill-set

Or sit on a French bench do nothing bar gaining a collection of splinters (not that their aren't a few teams that he could get significant game time for)

If he gets the right team than I can see him really developing. He is probably Scotland's most dangerous runner and I think he could really prosper in a team that can create space for him.
