Martin Rodriguez Gurruchaga est engagé en faveur du Stade Français

SF Paris have signed Argentina's Martin Rodriguez. He is a fullback but played 12 for Argentina in November vs England, Wales and Scotland as a replacement for the injured Felipe Contepomi and Marcelo Bosch. He did well, very well infact scoring all of Argentina's points on the tour.

My guess is SF Paris want him to play in the midfield and to kick the goals. Gasnier, who has been playing 12 recently, is likely to leave for the Melbourne Rebels.

It is a great signing in terms of the development of the Pumas, but a bad one if you are a Scot or English given the World Cup pool. He performed well in November and di so as an Argentine based player. Now he could really develop.

Interesting to note that he, like Federico Todeschini, is from Rosario and Todescihini is leaving France to return there in June.

Gonzalo Tiesi may well be off to play for SF Paris too. He is in talks with the club.

Tbh, with Bastareaud the starting 13 at the moment, it might be a bit of a waste to have one losing out to the other. They should both be turning out every week if possible.

He is playing for Toulon and after a slow start he is now doing well. Kicking the team to victory vs top opposition in the past three matches. He is currently in Paris with a group of 26 European based Argentine players for training.

Well, the Quins suck this season and all of Tiesi´s buddies are leaving England anyway. He is very close friends with Juan Leguizamon, plus English clubs are not as easy as French clubs when it comes to player release. The Quins did not release him to play South Africa in 2008 or the French Barbarians in 2007. A new challenge is also always good. Two years in France before playing in the Super 15.

Another Arg player has signed for a top French side too - Santiago Fernandez. He is not allowed to say which club but it is one of the biggest. My guess is Perpignan.
