I have no idea what to think leading into this game.
On the one hand I'm quietly positive we can compete and possibly secure a much needed W vs a very good scottish side.
But on the other I'm worried that the Irish game was part bounce, part catching Ireland by surprise after being so totally inept v France and Italy.
The main reason I think the first is more likely is becsuse the Ireland game was more than just a 'new coach bounce' imo. There was shape to our attack, solidity at the set piece, and a general change of attitude that bodes well.
Some have referenced Cardiff's lack of translating good attacking rugby into results under Sherrat, and that does concern me slightly. But I think Wales has a pack capable of competing for 80min. v Scotland, and that's not always the case for Cardiff. But we'll have to wait and see.
