to be absolutely honest mate. Those two weekly games aren't even worth the mention. He was banned from playing in the Super Rugby competition, not in some pointless development matches where i'm highly confident Nonu wouldn't be used much in these games anyway. So as far as the trial match and the Samoa A match go,... it's just the media increasing the hype.
The ban should stand seen as it was a natural disaster which caused Nonu to miss the game in the first place. The Crusaders missed out on a whole game let alone losing one player for one match.
In the current situation, I think it is absolutely fair that Nonu should serve his ban during the Chiefs game.
It's as if a criminal has been sentenced to a weeks imprisonment, then an earthquake strikes and destroys the prison and they can't do anything about it for the next couple of weeks. When they can eventually do something about it he will then serve his time.
Well he was banned from all rugby not just Super Rugby.But Nonu has decide not to appeal the ban."Ma'a felt that it just was not the right time to contest the issues around the timing of his suspension."
