Leinster v Edinburgh

glorious kick from Healy after absorbing all the Edinburgh pressure, Da Luca did brilliantly to pick up the ball but great effort from Jackman to force the knockon.

proof perfect that Whitaker is a doddery old fool, taking an age to get that ball away

very marginal call from White there, think he got it wrong but that's coming from a one eyed biased Leinster fan.

I know conditions are crap but yet again Whitaker doing his level best to make a balls of things

poor decision from White not to bin the Edinburgh player there, cynical penalty if ever I saw one.

It's worrying to see how Leinster just seem unable to convert possession and territory into points. 63 minutes into the game, Leinster dominating, but only 12-3. Edinburgh still hanging on.

thought for a second that White had missed the knock on, desperate effort though after that from Leinster

O'Dricoll with a stupid kick with only one chaser, Le Roux scrumming pretty decently. Leinster camped on the Scottish line again.

Edinburgh finally get their hands on the ball near halfway, but they never look dangerous.

Leinster were never threatened in the second half but really should have taken some of the chances that came their way. Big improvement for us to make if we're to have a chance of getting through to the semis

A mixed bag. The forwards were dominant in the wet conditions, the back-row won good ball at the times, and the rest of the pack worked effectively most times. On the other side, they spend most of the game in the Edinburgh half, and never really looked much like scoring. Whitaker is sooooooooo slow, I could make myself a sandwich, and return to see him still trying to get the ball away. Of the backs only Kearney shone, he and Murphy are neck to neck for the FB spot. The rest of the backs is very much still out of form, or played out of position (D'Arcy and Fitzgerald on the wing).
