I have't played COD4 for about two months but after playing it last night the graphics seem very underwhelming compared to watching Killzone 2 graphics over the last 3 weeks.

I can only comment on what some of the beta players have said and they said gameplay was really good, but everyone has been blown away by the graphics so I am sure it wont dissappoint in that area.

From what I have read the player physics etc are supposed to be amazing. One thing you might not like GG is I Hear the guns are a little slow to swing as if they actually have weight so this might put you off.
I am not a FPS fanatic or very picky with games such as these where as on sports games I critic every little thing.

Yeah that 9.5 rating review was impressive for a neutral. UK and US Playstation magazine both gave it 10 out of 10 but that is because they are playstation....I am really waiting for Gamespot and IGN to give their reviews and to see if they rate it higher than COD4.
However yeah...it looks more and more likely that I will buy this game.
Pity they have not got "cover" for multiplayer...though it must have been a problem in the battles for them to take it out and leave it only for single player mode.
Seriously the story line sounds very impressive...could be a great single player journey indeed.

ign reviews were some of the first to go up. ign aus gave it 9.0 and ign US 9.4 which I think was the same they gave cod 4 I think I heard mentioned in the user comments of the review. if there was ever a game for sony to shift some consoles for them this would be it. it's reviewing well and they are hitting it hard with marketing too.

Man I have been playing MGS4 lately and I will be suprised if the graphics are better as MGS4 is just amazing!! It is tough to know when the cut scene has actually ended!!

SCEE has confirmed that the Killzone 2 demo will be available to download from the European PlayStation Store on February 5th. That’s this Thursday.
The demo will include the first two sections of ‘Corinth River’ (the first level of the game) and will also include the tutorial sequence from the final game.

I was in the beta for a long-time, so won't exactly be downloading the demo. Should be fun for others though. Definite purchase for me on release though!
