Justin Marshall Joins Ospreys

Its a totally different kind of rugby played over here. Plus First team rugby & better wages then a player could get in the SH (if the player is near retirement)

i for one hope he stays for the two years, the ospreys have the potential to be world beaters.

This is the team that insists on playing Micheal Owen at Number 8?

When I was in NZ last summer there seemed to be a big North-South divide over Marshall. People on South Island seemed to love him, but most on the North thought he was an utter tool.

All Marshall has really done is prove that he's over here for the pay cheque first and foremost. He doesn't really seem to care where he's playing (hence going to Leeds in the first place).

Why the do you think New Zealanders go overseas to play in places like England and Wales? The Weather?
Proberby the prospect of an exciting, evenly matched, on-the up league like the GP rather than a 2 teams dominate agains a dozen **** sides, a-la the Super 14.

Plus, the prospect of them playing for the national team is f***ed as it's full of Fijians and Tongans. [/b]
Yes, the Northern Club Game is obviously vastly superior to the Southern one as recent international results have shown.

I'm sure Carl Haymen still gets nightmares about the "monster" Andy Sheridan and the English Pack.

The fact that the North go on about how their club game supposedly prepares players better for test matches.

Saintsfan Webby and Woodie were the worst offenders.

Funnily enough those comments suddenly dried up the minute Hodgson kicked off thier 2004 Tour by sending it down Rocokoko's throat.

At the time it did. England won the World Cup.

Then Andy Robinson took over and it's gone downhill ever since, while the RFU have f***ed up the club system totally.
