Joe Ajuwa

Ok, what is going on. Look at the right of my sig and you'll see a stacked black fella in a kit that looks like the Germany flag. His name is Joe Ajuwa, and for the last few years, he's played for Richmond - in London 1, and National 3 South. He's always been a favourite, because he's so big and strong, and has run in a fair few tries from the wing. However, he cannot catch a cold, cannot kick and has no rugby brain.

Last year he tried to play for London Welsh a few leagues up, and failed, coming back to Richmond for the 2nd half of the season.

This year, I see him named on the subs bench in the LV Cup, for the Scarlets. How is this possible? How is it that an athlete who should be playing 6 and was a hit and miss player in English rugby's lower leagues has suddenly moved up to professional level???

Answers please.

Because Lanelli Scarlets have good coaches who improve skill levels, general game management and evasive running ability. They consistently spend time with individuals like Joe Ajuwa to help them improve and fast-track them through the system. That said, i will be surprised if he is retained by them this season. He is good enough as the level below but still needs time to develop to reach regional standard in my view.

Ajuwa was cack for the Scarlets and only blossomed as a finisher for Llandovery. His try record for the Dovers was pretty good and it earn him a call up. When he played he look out of depth and the Scarlets duly released him.

Is this the guy who's off to Cardiff next season?

Nope, Blues have not signed anyone for next season. Got no money see.

I'd also cringed if we signed him.
