Jeremy Guscotts Team of the Tournament

Just seen Greenwood's XV and totally agree except for Roberts at 12 but if he says so, who am I to disagree! He is the best analyst in the world

In fairness he gives a great analysis on every pick. I don't think anyone will ever get it 100% right but he does give it good go.
FWIW I think he's the best on sky for his in depth analysis.

Not on Sky!! In the world!!!!

Certainly up there.
ROG, Jackman and Kinsella here in Ireland are very good when on.
Dean Ryan was superb and I do think Brian Moore speaks a lot of sense from different angles.

I was being kind of flippant with the Greenwood comment, it was the old Beatles joke about Ringo Starr.

Having said that, I would say that on Sky alone Nick Kennedy is a much better analyst than Greenwood, but he only seems to do Top 14 - he's still involved in rugby, coaching LI academy. Southwell again doing the Top 14 is very switched on and understands the game (but then he led on a lot of video analysis work for Wasps in his last season).

Brian Smith was fantastic and the best studio analyst I've seen on TV right up there with Dean Ryan, who i'm reliably informed sky consider the best Analyst they've ever worked with.

I'm surprised no-one has mentioned analysts of the caliber of George Hook or Ryan Constable yet....

Because they're way down at other side of the table. Jokes that are put there for entertainment more than anything. Absolutely no valuable input.

Interesting look at things, obviously the purely statistical nature of things takes away from the likes of O'Connell and AWJ and missing games also has a bad effect on players but Rob Kearney was reasonably hot despite claims stating otherwise! I wasn't going to say anything about it but this convinced me, his performances against France and England were quite incredible, I reckon he did exactly what Schmidt wanted him to do to absolute perfection.

Interesting that IBM TryTracker disagrees with Accenture in 7 out of 15 positions:

Again, very little explanation as to how the conclusions were reached.
