handling errors and conceding needless penalties seem to becoming a norm for ireland. the majority of the backs are from leinster so why can't they convert their clinical nous from club form? i was thinking maybe they just don't blend well with the munster players ie munster aren't used to flowing offloading play. cant really name anyone from the irish team standing out atm maybe fitzgerald and sexton? mike ross seems to be holding up his side of the scrum whereas healy isnt. o'leary's service is too slow. italy's defence is very good and they are doing what they have to do. kick for territory and pressurize ireland into giving away penalties. lets hope ireland break out in the 2nd half!

Italy are playing well too though to be fair to them. Ireland look like they're trying too much, once they just calm down a bit I think we'll pull away in the end of the second half. Ireland to win by 20 .
