Italy v france round 4

France looking more organised and competent than they generally have in the last couple of years, that's a fairly low bar though. Plus Italy were sadly awful, not difficult to look organised and competent against them at all unfortunately. Not helped by the fly-half debacle, but they looked poor across the pitch. Even Parisse didn't look that good, Furno and Ghiraldini have both had great tournaments but weren't anywhere near their own standards.

Also, what the hell was Leonardo Sarto doing for the first French try?! I don't think I've ever seen such incompetent defending ...

Feel bad for those who bought tickets to the game. Imagine if France won the six nations after some freak results next weekend :D

so bad i turned it off and went and updated my discogs collection... just astounding that such a big nation can be in such a mess.

Feel very sad for Italy, they had the chance of leading, missed two kicks and completely gave the game away.

Wot a load of rubbish but was the Italian scrum really that bad or can the French one give England a bit of a bashing next week? Interesting...well more than this match!

Between the utterly crap comments of this forum page and the comment of Saint-Andre "we have found a true team.." (lol) I guess the truth is somewhere in the middle.

France has been lucky that Italy made so much mistakes in the first period but it was nice to see France with intentions at least in the second period.

The first half was really ugly in terms of rugby I have to say. In the meantime, it is still 29-0, not sure we have seen a lot of score like this (and noticing that France could have scored much more...) since sometimes in the 6 nations, even more from France.

Again, I'm not too worried, in 2011, France have made a crappy tournament but then went to the final of the WRC, France shows his best when the preparation time is long like before the world cup.

Italy 3-30 Ireland
Scotland 0-20 England (2014)
Pretty similar, both games where the away team has scored 20-30 and the home team have scored none (or next to none)
