seriously dude show some cockiness like the other nations for once u dont remember the stick ireland were getting before the world cup on this forum about pre friendly games etc... i dont care ireland can win this world cup this year they have a world cup winning team.

im glad a new Zealander has finally said we are good team you cant just go bad overnight i was sick of all the rubbish ireland were getting about the losses to england france scotland etc.. they dont mean anything we showed we are capable of winning world cup this year i reckon we will not being cocky but i think we will.

im not i was just sick of all the rubbish ireland were getting from other nations before world cup. i think we deserve to be after all the flaming we got. i cant wait to play wales will be amazing game england will get beat in quarters.

I don't think Ireland are being cocky. You guys have done well and look at how the team has handled this win. All I heard was respect to their opposition. All I heard was respect for their upcoming opposition. The guys kept saying in the post-match that they didn't want to get ahead of themselves. They want to win their pool first and take it a game at a time after that. That's respect to their opposition.

As far as I'm concerned Ireland deserved their 4th ranking and they play with heart, bucketloads of it. They play like a bunch of guys doing it for each other. Why wouldn't I support that kind of ethic! Go fellas.

yeh by all means im not being cocky i was just really angry by all the rugby fans from other nations saying ireland wont do anything at world cup blah blah.. dont get me wrong i know its going to be tough but my heart is telling me ireland have the perfect team to win the rwc cup. im not getting carried away this is only a group game i will take it game by game but i have a great feeling this year

I have to say although it was a low scoring match it was incredibly tense...the missus who never paid any attention to rugby or any sport for that matter loved it...keesp saying how she cant wait for the next matches...something about the suspense and intensity of the match was pretty special.

yeh im so proud of the boys got a great feeling this year you gotta admit after that performance we are capable of doing great stuff this year.
