Ireland v Wales

Yeah a half of two halves alright. Wales couldnt get the ball for the first 25 mins, but in the end, were hanging on for half time. Wales arent working the irish defense to hard, but they are making opportunities at will. Sooo much space and so many gaps in the Irish defense, its only a matter of time before we concede a try.

Lol, Rob Kearney > Lee Byrne.

All Byrnes has done is kick aimlessly down field so far during this half.

As for Wales, if they cut out the silly mistake at the last moment, they'll score.

Nice one Mike Phillips.

.....idiot.

From this, Ireland will probably score a try early in the second half from that stupid retarded play from the player who saved us earlier on in the game.
FFS! JEEZ!

And yet another reason why Mike Phillips is crap. What the hell was he thinking?! Stupid and I hope Gatland and Edwards are bouncing his head off of a wall right now for basically ruining what was an impressive run of play for wales.

Phillips quite possibly lucky to get away with just a yellow.
[/b]
Don't be ridiculous, he made hardly any impact on Horan, although he would milk it completely. A yellow is enough in my opinion.

MIKE PHILLIPS! :rahh:

I hope Wales carry on their record of being five times better in the first half.

Why did Phillips react? Horan should have been penalised! Then Mike thinks he's hard and does something stupid like that!

Barnes is a crap ref, hes been poor this game in my opinion end of story but the yellow was justified!

well the various tv stations don't have to start their coverage while she's meeting the players.

Kick off was supposed to have been 1.15. Instead the whole prematch stuff was still dragging on and on and on....

First time in years I haven't been impressed by the Ireland midfield defence. BOD and Trimble aren't taking the man down first time.

And where's the shagging backrow?

Go on Horgan - great comeback.

Bullshit was that a yellow card.
Serves the fat bugger right for holding onto the ball.

Lee Byrne's playing reall well in the back, which goes to show how little Prestwick knows saying all he's done is kick down field.
Stephen Jones just isn't doing the job - i think we need hook on.

A little bit more discipline and Wales will get some tries.

O'Gara is kicking like a dream most of the times today. Some great kicks.

I get the feeling the wind had a big say in the Irish first half gameplan.... I'd expect them to have a better more attacking second 40.

Wales may rue all their missed chances.

You knee someone in the back, regardless of the curcumstances and you deserve at least a yellow and the replay clearly shows he was winding himself up before he finally gave him the knee in the back.

If Peel comes on, which knowing Shaun Edwards and his thoughts on ill discipline, he will, then we need to pray that he doesn't have one of his "I R LUV KICK BALL 2 OPPOSITION MUTCH!" games.

He milked it.
That knee in the back was hardly anything to complain about.
But a lack of discipline has gotten him sent off. He should hav ejust kept his cool.

Phillips has always been a knacker and yet again he takes the opportunity to prove everyone right, Horan always milks everything but that still doesn't excuse a knee in the back, moronic decision from Phillips in the circumstances.

The ref needs to watch the Irish indiscipline now, they're killing the ball like that way too often.

Id probably done the same in Phillips's situation, the ref should have stopped it anyway and awarded Wales an extra 10m if anything! Horan is an absolute idiot and so is Phillips!

EDIT: Ireland are killing the ball but not roleing away at the ruck! But he was pining Wales at the start of the game for it!
