Ireland v England, 10/02/13

England U20's...Tick
England Clubs...Tick
England Womens...Tick

Right Ireland lets make it a clean sweep tomorrow. Also congratulations to Ireland's women for their first ever win over England in the Six Nations.

Erm.... Saxons beat the Wolfhounds. :(

I reckon we have a 6nations decider tomorrow. Both these sides should beat France and England should beat Wales. Obviously things will change as we get into the competition but on performances so far it's likely.

I still think France can have an input into the destination of the 6N IF PSA gets his head out of his armpit..................if they pick the right players on form and in their position, they could beat both Ireland and England.

Wales have only lost one and have rediscovered confidence which should carry them through and certainly will not be the push over for England that they would have been had they lost today!

Still open to me but tomorrow will have an influence....

What about the Saxons? They beat the Wolfhounds. The arrogance of some...

On a more serious note, I agree it'll be the decider. I just wasted two hours of my life watching the France vs Wales game. While France are unpredictable, and Wales could yet rediscover their form, the match tomorrow will likely be the hardest either side faces this championship. Let's hope it's entertaining to watch.

Bugger, beaten to it.

People keep calling me arrogant but it's only because they're jealous of how great I am.

haha... Clubs Tick? From memory this Heineken cup English and Irish teams have the exact same numbers of wins and lossess against each other?

Also, most of the English women from last year have abandoned this six nations to do sevens instead, or so I hear. Not that I'm scraping the barrell or anything... :p

i do believe he is on about the ireland clubs versus england counties

the amateur international match

I'm really relying on this match to save the weekend as a sporting spectacle. I thought the Scotland v Italy match was ok, but then I sat through the torrent of shite that was the Wales v France match, which I have to say was comparable to some of the worst matches I've seen in the Pro 12 in terms of being an enjoyable game to watch.

Having said that, the weather for tomorrow is forecast to be cold and wet, so I'm probably hoping in vain. :/

Ah well.

Just been told the wind is going to be up as well. Low scoring slug fest it is then.

Legends add to the tally of this weekend 26-19 for Ireland. Was doing some work for the charitable trust got to go back afterwards and meet the players some real legends.

Scotland will be no walk in the park for anyone going to Murrayfield this year. They can turn over Ireland.

Its one of the most open championships for yonks. Far too early fr a ***le decider.

Agreed. The championship is still completely open, and i think if England win tomorrow it will only increase that. If Ireland win, i think there is a very good chance they are on for the Grand Slam. However i certainly wouldn't bet against France turning them over and i wouldn't abandon hope of Wales doing the same to England on the last weekend. Exciting times!

The hype in the press about Ireland's hopes resting on Mike Ross is complete bull***t ! There are 14 other players on that pitch that all need to work together to make it happen. The only reason that England dominated the scrums in twickenham last year is because Tom Court was forced out of position through no fault of his own he is NOT a tighthead but a very good loosehead. Loosing Ross to injury if it does happen does not mean the loosing of the game for Ireland as many reports suggests as D. Fitzpatrick is in fact a very good scrummager as proven in NZ. He can play a good 40 minutes and needs to be given a decent chance at proving his worth. Granted , options are minimal but Kidney would not have chosen him if there were any doubts about his ability . The emphasis needs to be on the team as a whole rather than adding pressure on individual players

Out of this match, just one team in the tournament will remain unbeaten...yikes.
But I still think France has a chance of winning it...:russian_ru:

Sooooo...YALL READY FOR THIS ?!!!

Still too hard to call. I don't think it's even going to be all that tight.
It's just that it's really hard to figure out what level of performance both teams are going to bring based on last weeks games and yesterdays.

None the wiser after those Scottish and Welsh wins.

I thought it was Bent to went to play in New Zealand?

aah ha.... hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Surely if Deccie choses him there should be doubts!!

[but yeah, your right - the man can lock a scrum]

Nah, Deccie Fitz went on the summer tour to NZ.

Bent played the autumn internationals.

Right, sorry I was referring to Bent playing IN New Zealand for the Canes, and thought that was what he was referring to rather than internationals.

We talk so much about the choke tackle...I just have a feeling Ireland might not major on it this weekend. What if they just go back to basics and tackle low (chop tackle ish) and all this blabber about the choke tackle is all for nothing.
