So, Georgia can overtake Italy on IRB Rankings if :
- Georgia win against Tonga and Italy don't win against Samoa (draw or defeat)
- the result between Georgia and Tonga is a draw and Italy lose against Samoa

So what do you thnk the rankings will look like after the weekend? Put your predictions here. Not that anyone takes it seriously but you can't deny the rankings are fun?!

Mine are quite conservative- not predicting upsets here:

2 SA
3 Aus
4 Eng
5 Ire

8 Arg
9 Sam

11 Jap

13 Ton
14 Geo
15 Ita

For SA to take top spot England will have to beat NZ by 15+ so I'm not going to get my hopes up.

So there will be **** all change in the top 6 unless Ireland or England win by more than 15 with the other losing... likely enough I say!

Edit: I missed Australia but Wales beating them is even less likely than the scenario up above!

If Austarlia beat Wales and NZ beat England then that'll see Aus swap with England back into 3rd. Not a huge change but a change nontheless.
Currently England occupy no.3 just ahead of Aussie after Bledisloe 3.

You're right! I had it in my head that the Aussies were third and was thinking that Wales would have to beat them for them to slip to fourth.

SA can't get passed NZ into 1st but also can't drop to 3rd n matter what. Ireland can actually get a massive head up here; a Wallabies loss and combination of large NZ and Ireland wins could see Ireland in 3rd as a best possible outcome for you. Even a large NZ win and a win for Ireland by 1 would see Irland climb to 0.01 points behind England. Though I doubt NZ or ireland will run away with it, Irish and Welsh wins aren't unfathomanable to say the least and a break away score or two at the death could easily see a big NZ win at Twickers. I still say Ireland at 5 though; Aussie seem on the up and I think NZ will want to make a point against England 1 year out from the RWC.

I had the top 7 correct at least. Was expecting wins for Arg and Samoa (and SA though that didn't effect positions). Not a good weekend for the SH.
