Perhaps a thread to keep track of the overwhelming number of injuries already sustained would be useful.

Just a few-

Cardiff Blues:
Jamie Roberts (until December 2010)
Casey Laulala

Ospreys:
Ian Evans

Leinster:
Leo Cullen (out since April, perhaps out 'til the end of the year)
Stan Wright (achilles tendon injued in pre-season, hopes to be back in February)
Kevin McLaughlin (shoulder injury in May, out 'til the end of the year)

That is overwhelming.

Indeed, thankfully the Scottish sides have been spared such world war like figures

However, Johnnie Beattie remains out, still likely to miss the Autumn internationals

Aironi

backs:
Kaine Robertson (long term)
Dylan Des Fountain (all season)
Roberto Quartaroli (all season)
Matteo Pratichetti (2-3 weeks)
Paolo Buso (long term)

forward:
Simone Favaro (2 - 3 weeks)
Josh Sole (2-3 weeks)
Matias Aguero (2-3 weeks)
Vickus Liebenberg (about 2 months)
Fabio Staibano (about 2 months)
Plinio Sciamanna (all season)

Ospreys
Mike Philips
Ryan Jones (Though he should be back this week)
Sonny Parker (Could miss HEC opener- Not much has been made of it, though.)
James Hook
Tom Isaacs (He's still to play for the Ospreys, having sustained injury in last year's pre-season)
Barry Davies
Tom Smith
Jonathan Spratt

That is overwhelming.

Only had time to list the latest- hoped others would fill in as they did.

Newport Gwent Dragons;
Toby Faletau
Ashley Smith
Jason Tovey
Nathan Brew
Tom Willis
Matthew Watkins
Joe Bearman
Martyn Thomas
Pat Leach
Nathan Buck
Mike Poole
Duane Goodfield
Tom Cooper

Ulster

Ruan Pienaar - Should be back for Glasgow
Simon Danielli - Should be back end of October
Adam Macklin - Unknown
Declan Fitzpatrick - Should be back by december
David Pollock - Unknown, dark rumours he'll never be back
Bryn Cunningham - Likewise

Scarlets
Morgan Stoddart (Is the man ever fit? He said he was feeling 'The fittest he ever had done', then gets injured first week of the season!)
Daffydd Jones
Daniel Evans
Richie Pugh
Gavin Quinnell
Lee Williams

Unfortunate for the Scarlets, missing both fullbacks.
Fenby is a decent winger but not so much a fullback.

Didn't know Gav was injured. He is in their Heineken Cup squad, I believe, and also played for Llanelli RFC last week.

Imagine him and Eifion in a scrum or maul together...
A few lads who like the buffet, eh?

Gav would be playing at a higher level if he ever decided to stay off the buffets, personally I see no problem with Eifion, he is fit enough, probably that Under Armour cannot fit him into one of their shirts!

At the end of the 2008 autumn tests, I believe, he was set targets by Gatland and crew. I'd image he made them as he was in the 2010 6N squad, but he did not appear.
Bring him on with 20 to go and kill whats left of the opposition scrum (after Adam and Gethin have had a go). On one of his very first scrums against Canada, in 2008, he helped win a penalty try for Wales, gotta give him credit.

As I see it ... if they can get Adam Jones to look trimmer then they can easily get Eifion to!

Never knew Quinnell was injured either.
