At his best he was a very solid player and probably deserved a couple of international caps. Does that leave just Adam D'arcy and Jamie Smith as Ulster's 15s?

Yes, although David McIlwaine, the academy player who's had quite a bit of game time on the wing so far this season, is actually normally a full-back. So ok on cover its just all as raw as steak tartare.
