Improving the game

It just seems to me that people want to come up with new ideas to improve the game as they say, but these new ideas have actually in some shape or form been tested already, and most of them didn't work. Why fix what isn't broken?

There are so many other issues in rugby that needs addressing, why bother with the subs?

Agree with above the Caterpillar ruck looks odd to me as maybe an area to look at.
Subs wise not that long ago in UK blood gate at quins to bring a kicker back on.
We don't want repeats of cheating 5 subs brings us back towards this area.
