Awful game

A few years back, (and I mean within the last decade) Stuart Broad was the pantomime villain of the ashes series because he *didn't* walk, when he knew he was out. Vilified in the aussie press, probably even to this day. So, there was a reasonable expectation that - even at the top level - a batter would do the right thing.
I stand by my post.

Yeah but that wasn't a feather, it was a ridiculous umpire decision. Plus that was pantomime villain stuff rather than genuine outrage.

In the 90's Gilchrest was lauded and hated in his dressing room for always walking even if he thought he could get away with it.
