Sale confirmed their senior squad for the remainder of the season, so here's where we're at:

1. Coenie Oosthuizen* / Ross Harrison / Valery Morozov
2. Akker Van Der Merwe / Curtis Langdon / Cameron Nield
3. Will-Griff John / Jake Cooper-Woolley / Coenie Oosthuizen*
4. Josh Beaumont / Matt Postlethwaite / Cobus Wiese (*Subject to Visa)
5. Lood De Jager / James Phillips
6. Jono Ross / Jean-Luc Du Preez
7. Tom Curry / Ben Curry
8. Daniel Du Preez

9. Faf de Klerk / Will Cliff / Gus Warr
10. Rob Du Preez / AJ MacGinty / Kieran Wilkinson
11. Marland Yarde / Byron McGuigan
12. Rohan Janse Van Rensburg / Sam Hill
13. Sam James / Luke James
14. Denny Solomona / Aaron Reed
15. Simon Hammersley

*Not sure which side Coenie Oosthuizen will be his main position tbh - presuming loosehead

We look light in some positions but a lot of players play multiple - L.James/McGuigan at 15, Beaumont and JL-dP can go to 8 etc

Coenie started out as a loosehead but he suffered a very bad neck injury that resulted in him having to learn to rather play at tighthead. He can still play loosehead, which is good for versatility but apart from the fact that he needs to play at TH for injury reasons it has always been of benefit to the teams he played for that he has the versatility and henceforth he was trained as a specialist TH. So if not needed at Loosehead by Sale then i would be very surprised if he does not play most of his rugby at Tighthead.

Aye, he started out on the tighthead for us and then when Morozov was missing through international and then a ban, he moved across to loosehead and played really well there (teamed up with WGJ that's a whole lot of beef in the front row). I've got a feeling he'll stay there moving forwards as JCW and WGJ are both better tightheads than Morozov is a loosehead (so it means we can fit our four best props into the same 23)

Squad is looking fairly healthy and young as well which i suppose benefits us as our finances sound fairly dire/on the ropes...

Feeling well set though to push on in the league and happy with a new core of young players.

At Quins, I believe we're yet to confirm some signings, but our squad is looking reasonably strong:

1. Marler / Garcia Botta / (Els)
2. Baldwin / Elia / Gray / Musk
3. Louw / Collier / Kerrod / (Trenier)
4. Lewies / Young / Lamb / Jurevicius*
5. Symons / Cavubati
6. J. Chisholm / White
7. Robshaw / Clifford / Evans
8. Dombrandt / Lawday
9. Care / Landajo
10. Smith / Lang / Herron
11. Earle / Ibitoye / R. Chisholm
12. Esterhuizen / Tapuai / Lasike
13. Marchant / Campagnaro / Northmore
14. Ashton / Murley / Green
15. Brown / Morris

Els and Trenier are strongly rumoured to have signed from Ealing but are yet to be confirmed.

I think Jurevicius is dual registered with London Scottish.

All in all, apart from Scrum Half where we're lacking any depth, I think we're looking in decent shape and harder grounds in late August and September could suit us well.

Well we probably wont have a game until November, but here's as it stands...we have a few more signings to announce apparently.

Lots of hugely talented kids who got blooded in the Champs beng brought through...and some grizzled pros. The signings of Fuser, Orlandi and Lucock are very good ones in my opinion. A few more in critical positions like prop and maybe back 3, sort the tactics out and i think we'll surprise a few.
