HES announces Rugby League Live for PS3/360

Maybe. But it's not like the market is flooded with budding developers for rugby league ***les, so it's hard to see how this could be a "big step backwards" for RL games when there've been so few steps in any direction in over 10 years... It's worth remembering that this isn't the United States and Rugby League is very niche by video game standards. These may be the final graphics of the game, and that would be understandable given how little relative funding these ***les receive in comparison to soccer, Gridiron etc. But then again, they may not be the final graphics; they may in fact be in the process of sharpening the poly count and the texture resolutions, while fixing the lighting and animations. My point being is that you don't need to get all upset at this point when you haven't even seen the final game yet. Let's try not to jump to conclusions ;) .

Just count yourself lucky you stopped playing command and conquer... C&C 4 is a candidate for both 'worst game in a franchise', and 'biggest insult to a franchises fan base'. Seriously, you don't know what disappointment is until you've played this abortion of a ***le...

Starting to get a bit iffy but I have every faith in the 2nd September date at least being met for those downunder............... .. . . .

Sucks for everyone else that it has been delayed.

The lack of info and footage is shocking this far out from release though. We still don't know if the game is any good lol. Not gonna sell well the way things are going.
 
judging by some of the pics - looking past the graphics - see the guy defending and he is 20m behind the tackle - i can only hope he got totally done, and the FB for the knights making the tackle has stopped the line break if there was one

I could not help but think you guys really know how the Sidhe ***le to make a great RL and for being a great help to them while I'm sure the supplies you need to develop Big Ant can, it's a bit worrying as they are an unknown commodity.

they could potentially port to pc later but the sales for something like this are definitely in the console market.
 
not looking good for those of us that are expecting a good next gen "rugby" game (regardless of code). Been searching different forums around the net (i'm bored due to uni hols :p :p) and came across the SIDHE forums. a poster over there (which i believe is on here too, may be wrong tho) has inside info on the testing and has said that its not looking good, so i believe that the delays of footage and screens along with a delay of release could be due to a massive overhaul of the game. not gonna post the link (not sure if i'm allowed to... do apologise if i've done something wrong :( :( ) just search the game and u'll come across it :D :D :D lets hope for some news soon :D
 
Looks like it's going to be a game offering high gamerscore.

If it doesn't get released here, might be worth checking eBay for an Oz store. I'm thinking about doing that if the AFL game is any good.
