I read it as more: He's contracted to do Strictly so can't really do anything until that's over?
Does seem a bit flippant about the whole thing though. And the publicity thing: BaaBaas are, you know, sort of well known as it is, without having to use his name Pretty much every big name in rugby has played for them at some point

What you say isn't exactly true. He hasn't blown them out at all, if you read the article the Barbarians registar said himself "it was always dependant on Henson's extra rugby activities". He has a contract with the BBC which he has to fulfill so its not that hes snubbing the Barbarians its just he has to see out his contract until mid-December at the latest or it could be till tomorrow (or whenever the next Strictly Come Dancing Eviction Show is). So if anything its being blown out of proportion and he may well be playing for the Ba Bas in December and maybe even playing club rugby before then whether it be for the Ospeys or whoever else. Aalso why is he a cocksucker? If anything you sound a nob the way you've come across with the above post

No, hes not really, not sure exactly why people are so against him, nobody bats an eyelid when a football player or any other sportsman is doing television work for that matter but everybody rips into Henson for it, and thats all hes done is made a few tv appearances, it doesn't make him a nob. This is the thing. Why is he even on Strictly, treats the Baa-Baas with such disrespect yet thinks he still has enough time to walk into the Wales team? How is that even possible?

Okay I was OTT with calling him names but everyone, Scott Johnson, most of the Welsh establishment and plenty of others have been making excuses for him this past year and one by one he's blown each one off. If he really was serious about getting back into the Wales squad he'd have taken a part time position at London Welsh to get himself back to fitness and cast off the rust. Instead he chooses to go prance around on BBC1 and rather than getting mad (like a lot of Wales players past & present seem to be) most of us are saying "well, uh, lets hope he gets voted off first round" and turning a blind eye....yet again.

Also, to clarify, you can't "called" me a clown but you can call me a clown.

Why should he split up Genia/Giteau if it's his first rugby in 18months?

I'd like to see him to get voted out of SCD asap, go to London Welsh, then BaaBaas, then see where he goes from there. I presume if he does well enough for Welsh/BaaBaas he'll get a contract somewhere, if only as cover during the 6N, then he can try and challenge for a spot on the WC squad (or if he gets into a top level club sooner/gets a stronger position, challenge for a 6N spot)

Sorry, just to clarify, I didn't realise this thread was about english and grammar lessons. The point is whether I said "called" or "call" is slightly irrelevant as you knew what I meant.
We also don't know how long ago he signed the contract with Strictly and according to him he has maintained a very high level of fitness throughout this perios of time where he hasn't been playing rugby. We also don't know the full story with regards to the situation with the Ospreys, if its in the hands of solicitors I'm guessing either Henson or the Ospreys are being awkward, though I totally agree with what Scott Johnson said that Henson is in a contract and should be made to honour the contract.

I think he shows enough respect by telling them that if he is still in Strictly Come Dancing then he is unavailable ... the contract he signed says so ... so I object to that statement and also if you read and know the right sources Henson only expressed interest in playing for the Barbarians ... and not confirmed, he was asked would he like to play and he said yes ... was not officially asked so stop getting wound up and spouting rubbish.

I reckon that kind of stuff is better suited to post rugby career. There are so many guys out there desperate to do what henson does..play footy for a living. If he doesnt wanna do that then thats cool let him move on and lets stop giving him whatever he wants.
