Apparently the new FB is Anthony Floch - Clermont FB that Lee Byrne is replacing

Don't really know a lot about him, other than he's got a pretty big boot (60m penalty against Toulouse the other day) - good signing?

Always plays well for me on EA rugby. Helpful I know.

As for LI, worse comes to worst they can play James Gibson at 7 for a season.

Antony Floch is a class player, I'd be delighted if he joined Sale, although it seems unlikely given Clermont's spending power?

A good quick fullback with a howitzer left boot too. I think he's reasonably young as well.

Well he can **** off from playing for England.

I'm not denying he's been a good player for Leeds, but the reason he's never made it in South Africa is because he's half the player Brussow, Burger, van Heerden etc. are. The fact he's come to England, qualified on residency and been capped for our national team before swanning off straight back home as soon as his team gets relegated is an embarrassment for English rugby.

Whether or not he would have done a better job than Armitage/ Saull/ Robshaw etc. is by the by, the fact he's been ahead of them in the national pecking order makes Martin Johnson look very stupid.
