Heineken Cup P2: Leicester Tigers vs Ospreys - 21/10/2012

Licester are offside at every restart!

Another penalty by Leicester. Doesn't look like Poite is going to yellow card Leicester.

Edit. Well they've f***ed this up. Webb fumbles the ball, then a cruel bounce results in a Leicester try.

They think it is all over..................it is now!!

Edit - May I just say I thought that that was easy in the end!!

That is such a lopsided scoreline, Ospreys were far better than a 17 point loss.

Flood is looking v good. Great opportunity taking by Leicester, hoping they can build on this game rather than reverting to the last. Classy that they managed to play the game all the way through. Thought they could have brought Tulagi into the game more effectively, and need to sort out their back row issues. Castro was no improvement on Cole when he came on. Goneva looked great at the start, then regressed in the second half imo. Tom Youngs is going pretty well considering his experience or lack of.

In truth...cannot disagree and would also say that surely Biggar has ended the 10 argument in the Valleys? if he does not get a run at it and the RWC do not sort out the "star salaries" issue can I suggest to Monsieur Blanco...............who I am reliably informed always follows this site......that this is one fly half it is worth breaking the bank for................

Next up on Sky the pundits cram their "Lions Index" full of Leicester players, even the Fijians

Certainly. It all hinged on Flood's intercept of Biggar's pass unfortunately. The O's had their tails up at that point, but suddenly had look to score a try to draw. Biggar hasn't given away an intercept for a while, but it was costly today, no matter how well he played otherwise.

Another costly mistake from Webb, fumbling the ball when the O's were pushing for a try to tie things up really put things to bed. Looked like they gave up after that, which wasn't great because it handed Leicester a bonus point that they didn't really deserve.

Edit. This concludes a miserable weekend for Welsh rugby. Can Gatland and Howley really turn things around for Wales, the confidence of the players is going to be pretty low at the moment. C'mon regions, you're letting us all down!

Now come on......most of them (actually all bar Ryan and Greenwood) talk rubbish but surely even they know that the Fijians, without exception, know how to run but NONE of them have the ability to tackle, a rugby brain as to positioning or can turn when the ball is behind them....even those lot cannot pick a Fijian even if they can actually remember that its GB+Irish Lions!!

What's the letter above the badge on Leicsters shirt for?

Edit: The guy interviewing was really rubbing in the victory there I thought haha

About as farcical as expected, however not because Leinster players are involved, instead because apparently McCusker has been the best 6 in the first two rounds of the HC. He's been playing at 8, and he's been complete rubbish!

Theres some incredible bias towards the English players aswell

Tell that to anybody outside Swansea...

Webb was **** when he came on. What a crap player. How many caps does he have?? Too many.
Bishop was awful, Beck unable to get into the match. Interception aside (not wholly his fault), Biggar was good. Great off the tee, needed a bit more with his kicks to touch though.

Poor performance. Yet another Welsh performance that starts with a bang and falls apart soon afterwards.

Was there a single Irish player listed (either as first choice, or 2nd/3rd)? I didn't notice many, McSharry and one other maybe?

Cannot remember much about it to be honest but do think that Paul Marshall was there?

Cant remember much of it off the top of my head but not one Irish player was in the Line up, and probably around 2 in the second line up.
I do understand its going on form but even with the 'on-form' line up, a lot of it was rubbish.
