Heineken Cup P2: Leicester Tigers vs Ospreys - 21/10/2012

No matter which was Poite gives scrum penalties, I have no idea why they're given. Seems a bit random sometimes...

I';m sorry but Poite needs a lesson in scrum rules. Cole pops up and nothing is given, then he gives a nothing penalty and yellow cards Bevington. Useless.

edit: Sorry just double posted again, not a good day for me with that...

Tipuric already dominating.

Complete agree, and he should be the nailed on starter at 7 for the 1st autumn test. This said, it's easier when your playing against a backrow of two 8's and a 6! Tigers really need to sort that balance out, theyre really missing Newby

Oh and Thingimbob: I do think in general Cole had Bevingtons number there and he didn't seem surprised and didn't complain when carded, but: I do think it was too premature for a card, and I also think that Poite like many referees is blind to everything except who appears to be going forward. Which can be a red-herring because when you look at the scrum which I think you're referring to when Cole popped up, the only reason Tigers were going forward is because Mafi has come in and rammed himself against Bevington which has started the whole pack going forward - it's an Ospreys Penalty though because the tigers front row all came up first.

Saw the oh so predictable " Leicester aren't winning so its obviosuly the refs fault" comments at half time. Same old excuses

Meh cant help but feel Poite is suffering from home advantage one eyed ness, spotting plenty of Tigers infringements but he seems to ignore them, bith scrum and breakdown.

EDIT: Actually its probably just those annoying 50/50 calls, Duncans made a difference in the scrum

With you on that.....

Listen Tiger fans, told you that Tigers would win easliy in the end......believe, people, believe!!!

if Leicester had a proper back row they would have sealed this up by now.

Why wasn;t a tigers prop binned there, like Bevington? Inconsistency much?

Bevington was binned after multiple offenses?

Wasn't that the third Tigers penalty at the scrum in the second half? Next one should be yellow if there is one.

What a kick by Flood!

Edit. I can understand why the Ospreys are a little annoyed. Every other ref deems advantage over from a knock on after kicking the ball, this ref is bringing everything back just like a penalty advantage.

Bishop made a few mistakes today. That was an O's chance, but he knocked it on.

Toby Flood misses one from over the halfway and I'm shocked. Guess that indicates the form he's been on...

Yupp whjat Dull said, this was multiple offences too.

Biggar is a *** if he said something to Poite there.

Oh nuts. Biggar tried to force that a bit, shame 'cos hes had a good game so far
