I hope RM92 can take the points on the road and build on the showing of last week. TBH I don't know what to expect from the Scarlets at home but would think RM should be favorites? That said I'd have expected Harlequins to beat the Scarlets last week and that didn't happen so..
Metro are playing daft rugby. Against Scarlets you have to grind it out. Their tight five is bloody muck. Stick it up the jumper for the first hour and wear them out, then maybe think of going wide late on if you must.
Racing really had to score there. Now I hope they got their heads together at half time and play smartly. Still a lot of time and they are right in this.
Snyman is overall doing well, same with Earle. I wish they signed them a year earlier, to be RWC options, considering we aren't producing big second rows. Ball, Snyman, and Earle are all better than who they replaced (Welch, Day, Reed). Vallejos didn't work out, but it doesn't seem to have mattered.
Two mistakes from Snyman there though; poor kick and then charged down the 2nd kick but a lot of blame has to go to the pack... not making it easy for him.
Well, they won't mean much in SA even if they are undoubtaedly talented so might as well.
Oh yeah, there are many second rows of a higher calibre developing there. PSdT, Willemse, Botha, Marais.
We can't seem to produce second rows above 6'4". King, Peers, Screech, Cook all a bit short for international rugby at second row.
Welsh teams can't defend against mauls.
Beginning to warm to Liam Williams, now that he has stopped trying this hardman act. Brave player under the high ball.
Haha, my mistake there Stormer. At least you didn't say Williams.
Would Scarlets settle for the draw? With two ties against clermont coming up they'd probably need the win to harbour ambitions of getting out of the group.
Fair result I suppose. Neither team really deserved to wither win or lose... well if anyone deserved to lose I suppose it is Racing; should have had this but credit has to go to the Welsh side.
