Heineken Cup 2013/14 Pool 2, Round 4 (Glasgow v Cardiff, Exeter v Toulon)

by the end of the game though, the chiefs' 'chant' which they do non-stop all game becomes seriously world-wearying...
I can't get enough of it, I love it. Guess I don't watch enough Premiership to hate it. Poor Toulon support if we can hear them though
OOH I thought that went forward. Giteau is really value for money though.

Not really heard it that much this game..............maybe not enough of them?

Another great break from Giteau but spoilt by a forward.....no it has been awarded?!!....great try!!!

Giteau over JW..........yes please!!

how come referees don't go to the tmo when it cleary IS a forward pass only when it's obviously not

Dave Ewers is immense, and has been all season - wouldn't mind him in the EPS for the Six Nations (bring him in for Johnson?).
Can he play 6? Not sure whether we can justify three 8s in the Squad (though I know Binny has played some 6 at Sarries).

LOL Toulon struggling (at home ?) against Exeter !! NIIIIIIIICE French clubs, way to put your imprint on this H Cup ! Literally all superstars on that XV (awww, is Habana injured though ?) and they can't get good breathing space on that scoreboard ?

niiiiiice RCT.

To be fair they have had charge of the game but Exeter have some great potential and were undone by mistakes and also, dare I say it, Arscott making some useful breaks but blind to the support that was there!!

Toulon played, again, in fits and starts and really nned to show some consistentcy throughout the game.................as I undersstand they did in the first half at Glasgow but did not see it!!

yeah...well still (and this isn't to buy myself back for the recent 2012 ENG NZ thread, FK that I'm not a social whore in case anybody's wondering...) I know Toulon just scored another try there, nice one, but:
as a whole, French clubs in the H Cup this year are all loaded with fantastic pieces throughout their XV's, and English sides in particular but Connacht too have held their own with simple yet effective Rugby, and have assured strong victories, even on the road ALL THE WHILE not being made up of Rugby int'l superstars. Just, good solid domestic well coached and consistent sides.

I've got to align with Connacht and the Quins and co. here, as that's what I support. Even with a humble but strong squad, they play. They play solid Rugby.
Racing are a fkn mess and they sure look shiny on paper. That's shyt there, man. No excuse.

I mean top of the Top 14 loses AT HOME against the fkn worst in Rabo ????!!!!!!!!!! yeaaaah, nice. Money just ain't buyin W's some times.

where's the excellence French sides showed just last season ?!!

Keep coming back to the annual summer upheavals and the need to have decent coaches given the necessary time to build a team as opposed to building a side with stars before an other influx of galacticos................viz, Clermont and Castres as opposed to Toulon, Montpellier, Stade , Racing etc some of whom have decent coaches but all of whom have major upheavals in numbers!
