Heineken Cup 2013/14 Pool 2, Round 3 (Cardiff v Glasgow, Exeter v Toulon)

Any chance any of our big guns will return next week? I've barely heard anything about Warbs, Gethin and Owen Williams. That said, impressed with what I saw of Richard Smith, hopefully he can build on it and eventually make sure Gavin Evans never gets a start again!

You have to Love Exeter.................shame about Steenson though!! Good chance to look at Nowell and Slade though......

First time for me to see Slade................very impressive!!

A great and disciplined perfomrance in defence against a Toulon side with a limited game plan but who were just not allowed to do anything else......too many mistakes but great game from Exeter! Slade was really impressive and though he showed more potential even than Nowell who also showed promise. Howver, credit to Baxter for putting this team together and getting them to play so well!

ouff !...9-14 for the RCT ??....how were Exeter ?
good Toulon got the win after all.

Little bit of strength emerging in the centres. Allen-Williams with Smith and Hewitt as back ups is pretty good going forward. Not world class yet, but the most exciting exciting prospects in the centre for the blues in a while. Think Warbs is out for a while, but Gethin may just be a case of having a rest after the autumn?

Good win for Toulon today against a very skilful Exeter team. Toulon still have to go to Glasgow and that is still a who knows game for me!

I would add to previous comments with a rare compliment for Rolland who let the game go and reffed better than normal!!

Just as well that glasgow were away from home...

Awwww Exeter should have won that. They are so naive!!!! Toulon were there for the taking but one team played territory, the other team played like an enthusiastic puppy bothering a grumpy cat. That's never going to end well. Toulon are not going to win this years cup. they are heading towards mediocre seeding and possibly an away QF. At best it'll be a tough home tie.
