Can't wait for the semi-annual Ulster vs Tigers fixture. Unfortunately I don't think we have the depth to succeed in the latter stages

Very pleased with that, especially without Henderson, Murphy, Moore or Addison. I think we honestly just need to build on this confidence with running ball in hand. There was about 35 minutes in the middle of the game we decided not to run at all. As soon as we started again we were fantastic. I haven't ever seen Clermont be cut apart like that before in the Heineken cup.

Agreed, however I'm happy with Barnes performance. He reffed Herrings tackle in the first half very well, whereas another ref could have given us a yellow or red given what we've seen before

In all seriousness great result Ulster. Fair cop, I didn't see them but what a start to the campaign and by the sound of it, the game of the weekend so far. Can't wait to make this fixture an afterthought when we stage an emotional and heart filled win tomorrow though.

Obviously missed European Rugby last year, We went over gave them headstart and then said meh we will take a 4 try victory.

It was superb from Ulster tonight and well question is what did Cooney do to Sexton??? As Ireland coaching staff are only ones to fail to see his class.
Equally bad in a way for Ulster as every French team would love a Cooney and well if he has no international hope the €€€€ of France can be hard to avoid.

And their fans are rude too. They were making all sorts of noise when Leicester was kicking. I was taught that fans were supposed to keep quiet during the kicks. Fortunately it didn't phase George Ford much.

Why in gods name do they have a 7 foot deep ditch right next to the pitch!?

Maybe it's there to keep the fans from rushing the pitch?

I certainly got the feeling when Racing smashed Saints on Friday night that we were about to see a lot of one-way traffic this season. Pleased to see its not the case.

Might still go that way in the knockouts tbf.
