Good victory, defense was awesome especially Bonnaire. The team will go there with a morale boost, and getting the defensive bonus should be possible.

We really should have gotten a draw at least out of that game, couldn't care less about the 17 game run but we were on top for about 55 minutes of the game and weren't clinical enough.

Leinster were not clinical , terrible lineouts and consistently failed to capitalize on their superiority for the majority of the game.
Clermont credit where it's due were brilliant on defence and could have won by a larger margin had a few balls gone to hand.

But by and large I think that's a game Leinster threw away.

And I'm completely broken in bits by the local derby today...this game only further serving to ruin my night.

Should have got more from that. Complete over use of the inside ball and Strauss' throwing need to change. Also probably could have moved Nacewa inside to help Madigan.

Clermont could have done far better - overuse of the ball straight to the wings and some seriously clumsy hands near the Leinster tryline. Some pretty bad decisions in the backline as well. If they click a bit more they'll have Leinster next week.

He did the job well but tbh we played a limited game plan yesterday he didn't really have to do much other then run hard and straight.

I thought he was pretty good to be honest... both with and without the ball.

D'Arcy was a great 13 back in the day - it is quite unfortunate for himself and Ireland that they had two world class 13s at the exact same time.
