This is going to be a big game for Bath, they have a lot of catching up to do after last weekend against Glasgow, but the problem with Bath is you never know which side will turn up...

Looking forward to this one...

Agreed, hopefully Bath can come out and win it, which they are very capable of doing. Like you said, depends what team shows up on the day.

I'd love to win it but we have no Mears, Fearns, Banahan, Williams and potentially Carraro. And They'll probably put Flatman on as well.... I just don't think we'll manage it, that said there's plenty of times whenI thought we were toast and we've come through! Although we should have SD starting.

Well i have no clue about these British/Irish teams... I only watch Top 14 on club level... how strong is bath ?

Never mind.. I read the lineup (that's some team) they are going to be hard to beat.. but still beaten

But.. Bath are starting with Flatman and Hooper. One of whom is rubbish as a captain and little better as a lock and the other is a rolling pints scoring machine (for the opposition). Should Bendy go off we'll have the knock on master of Jack Cuthbert on.

If Moody can show Hooper how to lead and the team play as a team we can do this and it is at the Rec so it is doable. But I guess we'll have to wait until the 80th minute to see how they fared.

They're a stronger team on paper than on the pitch

I really like Bath, but they just don't seem to click on the pitch. They'll give away silly penalties in crucial times, and just generally not hit their stride throughout the match.

Like m0rris said, above, they're missing some key players, so it won't be easy for them - I think Bath will edge it, though, as they're at home

Just over 10 Mins to go before Kick off at the Rec..

Teams for today:

Bath Rugby: N Abendanon; O Woodburn, D Hipkiss, S Vesty, T Biggs; S Donald, M Claassens; D Flatman, R Batty, D Wilson, S Hooper [capt], R Caldwell, F Louw, L Moody, S Taylor

Replacements: R van Vuuren, N Leleimalefaga, G Jgenti, D Hancke, M Matadigo, B Paillaugue, S Fernandez, Y Audrin

Bath in control of the game, leading 13 -3 against Montpellier, with tries from Woodburn and Flatman...

Donald has played well so far...

He tried to kill the ball before Flatman's try, he also came in from the side... basically if the ball had gone dead it would of been a Penalty Try...

If I plan on supporting Bath any longer I'm going to have to invest in heart pills It bleddin awful!

I think the Munster fans have ordered a case load in, maybe you can buy some from them :p

That Montpellier front row looked a bit tasty in the second half. Yet another "obvious" forward pass - that led to the Montpellier try - that should have been picked up by at least one of the officials.

Bath will have no chance against Leinster playing like that, and they were lucky not to have a man in the bin as there was a tip tackle on Bustos Moyano which shows the inconsistency of refs again

out of interest how long are teams allowed to have the ball at the base of the ruck whilst not playing it? Bath had the ball ready to be played for about 20 seconds before kicking it out

Bath are now on their 4th choice hooker with the other 3 being injured... one of the weakest front 5 for Bath for a long time...

They did well to grind out the win, however at Half Time they were the stronger team, they need to learn to keep going, but in fairness to Montpellier they came out fighting in the second half...

Montpellier's Georgian Number 8 looked quite tasty... very powerful at breaking the line...

Gorgodze :D

Think he had an extra wheetabix at halftime, he was immense in the 2nd half
