Guys world league should be scrapped anyway

i'd like to see a season mode where you choose an international team, club/provincial/regional team, play a whole 'real' season and even more. You get situations like if you were to choose a northern hemisphere team, in the autumn you would lose your international players or if you chose an international team, you can pick the players considering there form, fitness and past performances. Also things like playing in the magners league or aviva permiership one week then playing in the Heineken or Amlin challenge cup the next not just the same comp all year round.

This could be a manager mode but without the managerial stuff (which i don't like anyway). I don't think any sports ***le has done this sort of thing before and i think it could be AWESOME i would buy the game alone for this feature.

Although World league was completely unrealistic it was still better than nothing. I have to admit I had more fun just playing the single season mode with the Hurricanes. Play the season, once finished had to start all over again...... Still better than nothing.

HB Studios is giving us a 08 with less licenced teams and nothing else new. Where is the create a tornament /team /manager mode??? They don't give a rat's ass what anyone says.

This Rugby Challenge game allready sounds better with a create a tournament team and greate a player mode.

Thanks for clearing that up. Wish I'd known you had the inside scoop instead of spending all that time talking to the developers themselves. Would have saved me loads of hassle.

It sounds like it's a half arsed attempt. I hope I'm wrong because it has the potential to be such a great game but since there's no competition (like fifa and pes) the motivation might be lacking. That Q&A was very disappointing to say the least.

To be honest, im jst glad they are making the game at this point!!the previous games ok where not great, but still enjoyable!!these guys do not have a easy job!!I know they are goin to try and develop the best game that they can from the budget they have to work with.Lets be realistic, we are not goin to have the best rugby game this soon, it will take time and money, and to make this possible we hav to all support it for the francise to succeed and grow.So give the lads a break and just be happy that its in development and hopfully many more games to come.

Will there be a "Be a Pro" Mode, as in FIFA, NHL, NFL, etc?

I would like to see a minimum of:

- A Be a Pro Mode with a career spaning from age ~19 to mid 30s. Players can elect to sign varying length contracts to play in any of the following, and be offered contracts by other teams according to form etc.:

-Magners League
-Guinness Premiership
- Top 14 (French League)
- Heineken Cup
all incorporated into a full Northern Hemisphere season structure, to include autumn test rugby, 6 nations, and summer tours (test match fixture lists randomly (tho sensibly) generated every year). Individual players in Be A Pro Mode would be able to rise to International Squad status dependent on form and ability.

- Super 15
- Currie Cup, NPC, etc.
- Tri/4 nations
- Corresponding tours to synch with Northern hemisphere season.

World Cups every 4 years. If possible for Brit players, a Lions tour every 4 years too.

If the game goes sucessfully will there be added on modes like manager mode and other features like in fifa .I'm getting sick of playing football games when rugby is my favourite sport
