I think that HB are going the right way by focusing on gameplay first and foremost. Having all the licenses would be worthless if there was bad gameplay.

if its not released on pc im deff not going out of my way to buy a game that is going to be exactly the same as rugby 08 as if i would by the way it sounds these guys are guna dupe us out of our money in exchange for a shitty remake of rugby 08 that we will need a gay console for im not geting a console so im not buying into any hope this game will succeed. no pc version NO GO HB

They said that they are undecided over a PC version because of the amount of piracy and that it looses them money, which I completly agree with.

Yeah totally agree here... it would be great to have war-dances from Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Pacific Islands, NZ Maori and of course the All Blacks... Maybe even a special Haka from munster (maybe an unlockable, this would be a nice little touch)

why cant they intergrate some real protection like arma 2 with fade.they only have them selfs to blame for the piracy.as for consoles i have a card in my pc that blows away any console card so why would i want to waste 400 bucks on an overpriced console just for one game that is probably only going to have a few graphics tweeks.

A lot of ppl seem to be disucssin wat HB said they arent puttin in...but tbh if u read tht interview or watever they are being quite vague in most of their answers. i think there is gona be a surprise or two. they wana keep things quiet atm its a long time til the game would be released so they prob will add in loads of stuff after gettin the core gameplay down.

To me, and the average comsumer, lisences matter a lot and this is where most of the money is going to be made. Look at FIFA and PES, FIFA sells more cause of the lisences.

It's only in the past few years that Fifa has been outselling PES - Interestingly enough since PES got lots of licenses. During the PS2 era, PES always outsold the EA rival.

Oh for goodness sake, don't be ridiculous. If you had bothered reading through previous Q&A's etc you would have gathered that HB are on a low budget. They are doing the best they can to make this game a hit. So why should they spend even more money on protecting the game from piracy when they could be using that money to gain more licenses for teams/players etc. You say it as if piracy is a good thing and judging by your name on these forums I suspect you may very well download pirated games! But for everyone else who spends their hard earned money on a game, they would surely rather have more licenses than piracy protection.

hey guys, I must say to the guys at HB Studios, there is a lot of love for u here at TRF and that u guys dont see money here but the love for the game. (i now i do) u guys did a great job with rugby 06 AND rugby 08, u made a lot improvements since rugby 05.(and dont let the haters get to u, in the the words of 1 of the best rappers ever (Eminem): 'haters can make like bees with no stingers, and drop dead, No more beef flingers'.) With the passing system i would like to know if u tried looking at a very old rugby game (Jonah Lomu Rugby PS1) it had a good and Challenging passing system. another thing is saving the ball from going out after it crosses the line but not touching the ground. like catching it in mid air and passing it back in, while still in air.(also something i miss from Jonah Lomu Rugby PS1) thanks for the great games and i think it is save to say u guys can only improve with every release. thanks TRF and all members for all the support u have shown to the guys at HB Studios.
