Hardmen of Sport

Aye, all fair enough, but i think you're taking the whole thing a bit too seriously.
A lot of these posts may be done in jest, or may be done with all seriousness, but i question how far you're going to get arguing for football on a rugby forum.
I have my opinion that the disgraceful acts in football (stupid dives) are worse than the disgraceful acts in rugby (acts of violence), but i don't see the point of kicking up a fuss when one of the sports is villified - especially considering where you're posting.

If i went to a football forum and they were all mocking rugby fans and making videos showing us as overweight, lager-louts, who have homo-erotic fantasies by putting their heads in between other guys legs during game time then that's their choice. I'm not exactly going to make many people see "the light" especially if a video was done in humour/out of passion for the named sport.

It's people like you who wreck things for everyone, with your ideas of such things. You don't need to be a good fighter, or an intimidating figure off the field to be branded a Hardman. What Jerry Collins was in that instance was a thug.

SHUX!!! Relax bro... I only messaged what a group of us saw, Hey if it was the other way around i would of said jerry got layed out BUT he didn't . I only said something to jog a few peoples memory. Just to let you know the discussion went on to say... Apparently Shane started something at the Penrith club rooms and it escalated to the next night club... So that tells me your HARDMAN is a **** stirrer when he's tanked up

I think there were a lot of inappropriate racial discrimination between members of the forum, especially with JAWS and some other SH members.

He used to probably be the most active poster, but in the last 6-12 months looks like he finally found himself a job/got arrested so he hasn't really shown his face.

He used to keep the Super 14 forum ticking, like Dumbo and Truth do.

You'd fight your corner though...just like I'm doing. I always pitch in in favour of rugger when the old "egg chasing" debate pops up.

I can't agree that stamping your studded boots on someone's head is worse than trying to con a ref in order to get your team a penalty.
