I hope Saracens turn up to play at Allianz Park...

Meanwhile, Romain Poite can award us the walk-over at Twickenham and I for one wouldn't complain

Ah right, edited now

Thankless task isn't it?

Ye go to the trouble of making the threads then some smartarse comes in with comments like that!

Anyhoo - onto the game - weather gives it dry. If Ulster get parity in the forwards, the better midfield and back 3 should result in an Ulster win.

Emphasis on "if". There is also the penalty/farrell question. Too many conceded = game over.

Ulster: J Payne, A Trimble, D Cave, L Marshall, C Gilroy, P Jackson, R Pienaar; T Court, R Best, J Afoa; J Muller, D Tuohy; I Henderson, C Henry, N Williams.Replacements: R Herring, C Black, R Lutton, R Diack, R Wilson, P Marshall, S Olding, T Bowe.

Strong team, fantastic to see Bowe back.

Really thik Gilroy will have a huge game.

Hope you are right.....who wants Sarries to win anything!

Wilson out, McComish in.

If we'd had a couple more games to get everyone back into fighting nick and everything gelled together, I'd be feeling almost overconfident. As it is, I think Sarries are favourites, they're more cohesive and on a hot streak.

However, as Amiga says, if the pack performs like we know they can then it's possible. They won't be on their faster artificial surface either, which helps.

And, fingers crossed, you'd expect the away support to be a bit louder than the home lot...

Saracens: Goode; Ashton, Tomkins, Barritt, Strettle; Farrell, Wigglesworth; Vunipola, Brits, Stevens, Borthwick, Hargreaves, Brown, Fraser, Joubert.
Replacements: Smit, Gill, Du Plessis, Botha, Wray, De Kock, Hodgson, Wyles.

Ulster have been playing like ****, Poite hasn't helped with Sarries going off their feet at almost every ruck.

Marshall needs to take a number of weeks off from rugby concussion becoming a problem.

Basic skills a big problem for Ulster.

Henderson's having a great game, though.
Made about 15-20m a few mins ago right through the middle of Sarries defence just spinning and fending his way through.

Yeah future great pity about the intercept though.

EDIT: Glad they at least got the consolation try.

Think cmac spoke a bit too early about Bowe showed some nice touches.

In fairness Bowes rustiness was shown for Ashton's try but he was decent in attack and he will be on plane for Lions. Nick Williams I wish was back at Munster he just is a powerful man who was superb but I hate to say I am beginning to wonder about Jackson. Also Marshall is made of glass but a super player if able to stay fit.

Agreed, he started with three not Tommy Bowe like mistakes but warmed up and showed glimpses of what he can do. Rory Best must not want to go on a Lions tour.

Ruthless, professional, well drilled and totally effing boring.......I really hope someone can beat this lot but Ulster were not at the races today. I am so glad that this was recorded and I could fast forward through it!

Just shows what money can do when the rest of the APL do not seem to know how to "fund" their squads to compete.......I am sure that Saracens stay within the playing cap but some of their players must be way underpaid as must be able to earn more with other teams!!!!!

Oh God...the article showed 'it' on its displayed picture...
I'm terribly sorry, Ulster.

I'm so sorry you had to endure...an Ashton swandive try. No side, national or club, should ever have to endure such an ordeal.

Yoe....I studiously ignored the idiot as he really did little else all game!!

Really think Kearney and Best have really damaged their chances for Lions tour this weekend and Best especially. He lost too many lineouts in dangerous positions that could've brought momentum to Ulster. But if we are honest Ulsters form (excluding Leinster game) has been poor in 2013. I still would question have they really improved since replacing McLaughlin.
