Whoever is chosen they can't all be living in the same hemisphere. Because World rugby is bigger than World league then if it is a league person he (or she) would have to have extensive knowledge on union. Also competency in local knowledge is not enough (did you know there are several "All Blacks" teams around the world in places as remote as Indonesia?). We need moderators who are informed on the history of both codes to give the debate more depth. We also need moderators who have foresight (I know what your debased minds are thinking...stop it!!) into the possible futures for both codes. But most of all we need people who can critique with intelligence that is based on fact more than opinion.
