What's the latest with Grand Prix Entertainment's efforts to bring professional Rugby 7s to the United States? Haven't really heard anything since the 2013 game was cancelled...

Don't think it will happen to be honest. With so much money swilling around in other sports, It's hard to establish new sports in US

That's a shame, would really like to see a professional rugby league in the US. Would prefer to see a rugby union pro league, but think the 7s format would really catch on here in the states.

Wonder why USA Rugby is hanging on to Grand Prix Entertainment and why no one else has stepped up to announce a potential 7s pro league in the US.
